Boris has been on a roll lately. Subsurface scattering, water caustics, even dirty lens effects have been added.

I like how there are close to 8K resolution screens on this page, but it's the same old Skyrim nature shots that are downsampled from 1440p that get peoples' panties in a bunch.

Even on Flickr, I can take an ENB screenshot of a boot and get 3x more favorites than my normal stuff.

At that moment of the game there's no HUD or weapon. So... I just did nothing.

HUD can be removed via options, and you can sheathe your weapons.

I saw the HUD option when I started the game but I can't find any option to sheathe the weapons in the keys assignment menu.
But there's always the possibility to just switch weapons and take a screenshot in between anyway, I would be more interested in a way to hide the demons arms.

Kinda a late response but anyway:

I believe people are more impressed by those Skyrim shots because of the diversity and the nature that Skyrim is an open canvas ready to paint it how you like it which means that each modded build will look different from each other and therefore uniqe regardless of resolution.

So say that everyone go take a screenshot of the same location in skyrim .
you would end up with different lighting .different textures and weather types cold warm tropic etc... each time.

now if everyone go take a screenshot of the same scene at the same moment of a non modded game at different resolutions you would end up with better IQ for each picture that is taken at a higher resolution but you would still have the same scene whether it was taken at 1080p or at 8K.

Making my DS3 cheat engine table available to folks is long overdue. Popped into the game last night to find that most functionality isn't working, but the camera can at least be moved around.

Have a bit of updating to do yet.

Finally i have found a way for use SRWE in this game...disabling SFX! ^^

At least now there isnt no more jaggies and blur..simple clean.

More GTA 4 downsampled from 4K with simple ENB. Does it look like there's SMAA in these shots? I had sweetfx on but I'm still seeing jaggies.

It does somewhat, but also kind of like it's not.

SMAA downsampling isn't always very good looking.

You may want to try FXAA downsampling instead.
