Weak game from us. Crap crosses all day. Missed Zusi in that regard, but i dont know if he would have made a difference or not. I know the wind played a factor but we looked poor. A point is a point, but we need some wins.

struggling to string passes together all game. frustrating to watch when all everyone does is lob or kick the ball in the air.

They need to get on the same page and settle into the game. I still feel like as a team they could just "get it" all of a sudden and take off and be great. Like they're on the cusp. I don't know what it's going to take to get them gelled though.

How is Villareal playing ?

I like him a lot. Has a good future ahead of him

He has had his chances. He got a nice header of a corner, but it was to the goalie. He also had a shot from long distance.
His best opportunity came when he was basically one one one with goalie of a long pass. The goalie hesitated, so all he had to do was chip it over him, but he kind of miss hit it and defender was able to get it at the last chance before it went in.

Edit:
Goal for the Galaxy off a PK.

Edit 2:
Solid win for the LA Galaxy

Must be!

I stand by the main thrust of my comment though, that I am confident that the Sounders are having a slow start this season but will pick it up and do well overall

Its on now...well I hope. Still dont have faith in Hackworth to be honest..

Philadelphia Union acquire Brazilian midfielder José Kléberson on loan, part ways with Freddy Adu

Philadelphia Union announced today that the club has acquired veteran Brazilian international José Kléberson on loan from Esporte Clube Bahia. Additionally, the Union have reached a contract termination by mutual consent with Freddy Adu, who has subsequently signed with Bahia. Kléberson, a former FIFA World-Cup Champion, will join the team pending reception of his U.S. P-1 Visa, International Transfer Certificate (ITC) and a medical examination and will occupy a Designated Player and international roster spot. Per club and MLS policies, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

“We’re excited to have a player with his kind of experience join an already talented roster,” Team Manager John Hackworth said. “Kléberson has had success at the world’s highest level of competition – both on a club and international level – and we hope he can add another dimension to our team.”

Kléberson, 33, has seen extensive success on the international level, featuring on Brazil’s winning teams in the 2002 FIFA World Cup, 2004 Copa América and 2009 FIFA Confederations Cup, while also being selected to the 2010 FIFA World Cup. For his career, Kléberson has appeared in 32 matches for his native Brazil.

As a 23-year-old, Kléberson gained global recognition as he helped lead Brazil to a world-record fifth FIFA World Cup title, starting in the 2002 FIFA World Cup Final against Germany and assisting in the 79th minute on Ronaldo’s second goal to help his country clinch a 2-0 victory. His performance that summer led to Manchester United Manager Sir Alex Ferguson signing the Brazilian on a permanent transfer to the English club.

“We would like to thank Freddy Adu for his service to the Union over the past two years and wish him the best of luck as he continues his career in Brazil,” said Hackworth.

I also dont know what to think of this move. On the one hand he may be what the U need in midfield(cuz the combination play our midfield is horrible), but then its like i dont rate hackworth too highly and feel like he is going to force this guy into a role he is not suited for.

Metro trades for Andre Akpan
March 28, 2013 (Official Press Release)
The New York Red Bulls announced today that they acquired forward Andre Akpan from the Colorado Rapids in exchange for a conditional 2015 MLS Draft pick.

Solid pickup. I think Petke notices that we need a true #9. Somebody just has to stay in the box and shoot.

Going to my first home game finally. First win of many I hope.

Ahhhhhh so damn close for the three points. I'm happy web didn't lose though. Ugh... One mistake by a guy who has sucked all game and we tie 2-2 . Damn you Russell!

How do you even choose a captain and does it choose one for you if you haven't chosen?

When you select your team their is a Captain and Vice captain below the team, you pick one of your players and he recieves double points. Vice captain is if your chosen captain doesnt play. Not sure what it does if you dont pick.

On topic of todays games...Fucking Union, god damn they blow sometimes. Fuckers pass and defend worse then my sons U-11 team.

Jesus H. Christ, if Henry comes into the game...YOU MARK THE MOTHERF*CKING LEGEND! Its one thing if he scores but if you just let him strut on by unmarked!

Montreal isn't good. Their perfect record involved a lot of luck imo

WAT. Montreal is pretty damn good. Their passing, not taking into consideration the match today against SKC, has been amazing.

But yeah, they got completely outplayed by SKC tonight. Montreal barely had any chances and were unable to string together good sequences of passes. SKC did a pretty good job taking Di Vaio and Felipe out of the match today.

Honest question. What's with Henry and a lack of enthusiasm when he scores? I remember when he went on loan to Arsenal and scored that FA Cup goal, he went bananas, but uh... I barely ever see him happy when he scores in NY.

Once i saw that Lehoud and Cruz were starting i was not looking forward to the game. I would love to know what Hack sees in Cruz. He is where our attack goes to DIE. Our midifled is HORRIBLE ca t string passes together cant make the offense click it is SO frustrating.

Props to Henry he looked like he wanted to play, as a Arsenal fan glad to see him play well.

SKC really taking it to Montreal right now. Good to see.

A few of the guys on loan at Orlando City played very well this weekend. Dom Dwyer scored a goal and had another shot force a rebound that was converted to help us win the I-4 Derby over Tampa Bay. :D

Dom is good. I'm glad he's getting some real playtime. He would have been riding the bench here in KC and picking up a few late game garbage time substitution minutes.

Expected to see more starters for Seattle. Kind of surprising.

EDIT :::::

Didn't realize Gspurning was out for accumulation. Clean sheet so far though for Hahnemann.

Sounders are going to lose this if they don't put 2 or 3 in the back of the net

TFC officially announces the signing of Maximiliano Urruti (Argentina) and an unnamed attacking MF (Argentina):

The Canadian Press has learned that the MLS team has finalized deals for Argentine striker Maximiliano Urrutti and an Argentine midfielder.

Both are expected at the club by the end of the month.

Toronto FC is also working on landing an attacking midfielder in the summer.

The 22-year-old Urrutti, who plays for Newell’s Old Boys, has reportedly been a target of Toronto, although club officials have referred only to chasing an Argentine forward.

The club is looking at possibly categorizing one of the Argentines as a so-called “young designated player.”

Only US$200,000 of the annual salary of a DP aged 21 to 23 counts against the club’s salary cap, less if signed mid-season.
