I imagine owning a show and deriving all the profits from it is better than streaming reruns of Everybody Hates The Undateable New Girls from The Middle or NCIS Chicago Cyber SVU anyway.
Please don't lump the amazing Middle in there!

Wow, didn't expect CBS to put Supergirl opposite of Gotham..
It'll be interesting to see how that shakes out. I'm sure Supergirl will premiere decently, if not better, but I have no faith in CBS keeping a genre show on the air for the long haul.
If you told me only one of the two would still be airing new episodes in the 2017-18 season I'd say enjoy season four of Gotham.
Wait, what?My guess is that the competition from Amazon/Netflix/Hulu/Overstock.com will help drive that price up when they're all competing for streaming syndication, though Netflix's CEO did just say that they get more efficient use of dollars on original content.
I don't look at this thread enough.overstock.com jokes will never not be funny
ABC > FOX > NBC
Also, I can't believe I'm saying this, but ABC went overboard with the minorities.
From zero to like every show in 2 seasons. Two black sitcoms? Two Asian sitcoms?
Its great, but it is also blatantly transparent. I just wish this stuff could be more organic and natural rather than so forced.
The third season of Under the Dome is about to premiere (regardless of quality)
They're going to save Community/Constantine/Firefly/Almost Human!Wait, what?
They're going to save Community/Constantine/Firefly/Almost Human!
I'm not a numbers guy either (I was really talking out of my ass more than anything founded) but I just assume that 13 episode seasons are a safer, lower-level investment for underperforming and borderline shows than the standard 20+ length. If successful, they can be expanded later ala Empire. I'm just glad that the expectation is no longer that every show hit 20-26 episodes every season.
That Supergirl trailer was really, really, really good.
Superman exists as part of Supergirl, I ain't even mad.
The trailer was really good though.
If this follows the end of the movie, where upgraded NZT is all upside, no downside, why does the FBI (?) corral and employ an NZT user instead of just making it available to their most trusted agents and analysts?I just saw that. Seems super bizarre for this to be a chronological followup to the movie instead of just a show loosely using the premise.
Overstock jokes are funny, but also, for real, Overstock announced they're getting into the original streaming video content game, and presumably to bulk up their offerings they'll also buy streaming rights to bubble shows, etc.I don't look at this thread enough.

But that said, anything where a Kryptonian saves a failing airplane is gonna get me to watch. As @pilotbacon points out, the Supergirl trailer is almost literally that SNL skit about the Black Widow movie.
Angel from Hell looks decent too.
What am I suppose to watch in the fall, then? There's nothing else on.
Is this the same "universe" as MOS? Or different?
ETA: Life in Pieces. So hard to see Dianne Wiest in a comedic role. She was so good on In Treatment as Gina so it's hard not to see her as that role.
It really is.The thread for the Supergirl trailer in OT is hilarious.
Arrowverse.
That Supergirl trailer was really, really, really good.
yeah person of interest is shit im glad its dying off 13 episodes who gives a fuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuckThis is CBS we're talking about though.....aren't they masters of taking great concepts like Limitless and turning them into procedural shits?
So Arrowverse is not the same as MOS/BVS-verse? So...there's a TV and movie verse and never the twain shall meet? Seems overly complicated. They might as well do Supes/Bats TV shows then. I guess I kind of knew this w/ Ezra Miller as The Flash but it's still odd to me. Anyway, thanks for the info.
Arrowverse.
that is correct. We have two separate universe.
Although I'm not sure how much it'll interact. CBS has indicated they're not keen on cross-overs.
But ER was on NBC.Code Black: A Very Dramatic ER Drama from the Channel that Brought You ER.
Yeah it looks like fun.Jane Lynch has great screen presence. Her role is lots of fun in that trailer.
But ER was on NBC.

Super Girl reminds me of that movie from the 80s for some reason. It's surprisingly CW-ey. lol
From the station that brought you Three Rivers and Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman.WHATEVER
i got confused because CBS mentioned ER in their upfront brief when talking about Code Black
you mean every network
@ivysaur12 @theexperts
does this mean anything?

is there still a chance person of interest will go past this 13 episode season?
I know right?Sooooooo CBS has the most shows I'm interested in next season question mark?
