Sorry Tennessee. :-( You got jobbed by the refs at the end on the foul called on Stokes. Good job in almost making it back. Way to represent the SEC! Proud of yah!

Edit: Good luck Wildcats!

Yeah. Foul was best outcome for Tennessee in that scenario. Michigan's ball either way because the steal would have stayed in bounds. If I was Tennessee rather have michigan taking it out of bounds.

That replay review was some serious bullshit in the MIchigan Tenn game. Ball clearly went off the fingertips of the Tenn player, and yet they gave it to Tenn.

Line was Mich -2.5, Mich wins by 2. I'd be irate if I was in Vegas and had bet on Michigan as that was a disastrous call to miss.

The Jordan Morgan block/charge call w/ a bit of a flop was a call the refs should've swallowed the whistle on. But still, that was a clear judgment call.

Ball clearly going off a player's fingertips in HD on the replay requires no judgment. It was off Tenn.

Hope the refs do a better job with these two late games.

Nice! All that is left is for Michigan State to win tonight to continue the great 2014 year for the Big Ten. Not sure if Wisconsin, MSU, or UofM will be crowned champs, but glad to see things looking up for the Big Ten.

Hell of a call to make there.

From the TV angle that looks like a clear flop, but from the ref's angle it looks like Stokes lowering his shoulder loading it into the defender.

You don't want the ref to decide the game, but you gotta call something there. Charge/block, either way you're going to have people complaining.
That Tennessee player was looking for a whistle more than making a play, so I guess he got what he wanted.

I am tired of gutless commentators in sports who are cowards and want to pat the referees on their backs after every game.

Clark Kellogg spouts so much garbage it's not even funny.

Wut? If you bet on Michigan you lost either way.

Edit: nvm I'm thinking of wrong call. Still possible Michigan doesn't cover anyways.

Big 12 tourney champs and an amazing season. Hogue played out of his mind like I predicted, we just didn't have enough. Ejim and Kane had amazing seasons and were fantastic Cyclones. We'll be back next year I am 100% sure.

Yeah after seeing the replay I am not sure what the complaint is about. Michigan still gets the ball.

I just watched the replay again. The Tennessee player stops running towards the ball once the whistle is blown. I'm not sure why everyone in here is acting like it was a foregone conclusion that Michigan would've gotten it. It would've been a tough fight for it for sure.

Fucking Iowa State. I don't know why I ever get excited about any of their athletics pulling out some kind of miracle. Year after year they find a way to choke.

That would have been a steal anyways.. And the OOB call to Tennessee was even worse.. I'm a Michigan fan and they played like shit and still won.. I'll take it..

UK has the best shot at reaching the F4. they're coming together at the right time.

MSU is going to win it all IMO..

According to ESPN, Duke/UNC is a huge deal. On a broader scale, I think there is wide interest in that rivalry, but the not intense interest. On a local level I think those teams play each other far too often, usually 3 times a season, for it to have the intensity of the Kentucky/Louisville rivalry. From a longevity perspective, Louisville had 2 championships before Duke won their first. From a here and now perspective, these are the last two national champions, one of which has the other school's former coach, playing in the NCAA Tournament. That's a big deal.

Duke had been to the championship game twice before Louisville appeared in their first (a 16-year difference between 1st appearances, actually), and had appeared in more Final Fours as well. And Duke and Louisville played a tight game against each other in that '86 final. So longevity actually favors Duke TBH.

I have no fucking clue about whatever socio-economic issue you're talking about and neither does anyone else outside the triangle. That's their thing and is completely irrelevant on a national scale. I could bring up any number of justifications for the UK/UL rivalry that would be equally useless for you.

Oh come on, seriously? If that were true, why do so many of the Duke-hating arguments revolve around students being rich, elitist white kids from New Jersey?

I wish we had the chance to play each other in the NCAAs though. Can't believe it's never happened. We came close a few times. This should be an entertaining game between UK and Louisville.
