Ok, thanks for your input!

I also have Bryant stashed on my bench, maybe throw him in there to sweeten the deal?

That would be tough to do, because he would be getting two broken receivers that both need roster spots. 2 for 1 sometimes works in any league but 3 for 1 is almost impossible. He'd have to have some obvious junk he could drop or trade back to you.

As for your waiver wire, Matthews and Jones are both obvious pickups so you'd need to be fairly sure he can't get either, either because it's FAAB and you know people have bids or he has a poor waiver priority, etc.

Here's my full team:
QB - Tom Brady, Russell Wilson
RB - Jeremy Hill, Justin Forsett, Matt Jones, LeGarrette Blount
WR - Antonio Brown, Brandon Marshall, Larry Fitzgerald, Dez Bryant, Steve Johnson
TE- Jason Witten
DST - Broncos
K - Josh Brown

Does the bum Forsett have any trade value? How about him and Steve Johnson for Ivory???

What is this a six team league? LOL

1. Why haven't you traded Wilson yet
2. Forsett will still have value so long as the Ravens suck, but the worry is if they suck so bad they have to throw. Browns (2x) and 49ers are on the schedule so I see room for improvement. Would be tough to pretend he's going to lose his job when the entire team is bad.

In general, do players perform well in London? With the different time zone and jet lag...

Pretty well. Sometimes the weather is trash but last year scores were 42-52 points per game, with all of the star players doing well fantasy wise.

Last Season:

Cowboys/Jags:
Romo: 22pts, Murray: 100 yds, Dez: 28pts
Robinson: 18pts, Shorts: 119yds

Lions/Falcons
Stafford: 20pts, Riddick: 17pts, Tate: 21pts
Ryan: 16pts, SJax: 12pts, Roddy: 6pts

Dolphins/Raiders
Tannehill: 22pts, Miller: 18pts, Wallace: 10pts
Raiders: trash

Stafford sucks and he has a terrible matchup this week against SEA.

Should I pick up Carr or Flacco? Those are the only two worthwhile QBs on the wire except maybe Fitz.

Anyone else snap up James Jones when the Packers signed him? Quickly turning into the Waiver steal of the year, he put up 20pts for me last night and it seems like Rodgers really loves slinging it to him. Him, Cobb and Jamaal Charles put up like 65 points for me last night.

Carr. He's the hot hand and has amari, murray, and a semi alive Crabtree and an excellent matchup

I tried, was too low on the waver wire. The guy who has him sat him and barely won with Maclin.

Killed me that I knew I should have picked him up the moment the Giants cut him, but yeah, spent big waiver bucks to get him and Moncrief (who is also going nowhere but up) Packers are just too strong, schedule is pretty good and Davante Adams is a hurt bust. Tons of opportunity.

I just offered Jeremy Hill and Steve Johnson for Latavius Murray (following CBS trade chart). I am in desperate need of a RB that actually performs and he also has Jamaal Charles starting with Chris Ivory and Ryan Matthews on the bench. His starting WRs are Julio Jones, Mike Evans, and Michael Floyd.

Do you think he will accept?

I've got Latavius in one of my leagues and there's not many players I would accept for him. He is a beast and starting to show his true potential. Who else do you have for trade? I don't think Jeremy Hill and Stevie Johnson will do it.

James Jones was my draft pick in the very last round of our 12-team draft. This was a day or two after he signed with Green Bay, and Yahoo was actually still showing him as being part of the New York Giants. He was also ranked incredibly low by Yahoo at the time.

Better than my last pick, mine was DGB on the titans.

Lol no, 12 team league. I got Brady in round 7 back when he was still suspended. Trust me I have been trying to trade Wilson since week 1, this league isn't very active. I am dropping him after this week since Brady has a bye this week (am actually thinking of dropping Wilson for Dalton in week 4).

Wow I'm in a twelve team league and there is nothing on the waiver wire this week. Nothing!
I'm in trouble with second string QBs throwing to all my receivers.

Suffered the fantasy beatdown of a lifetime thanks to alignment of the stars, moon, and AJ Green.

200 pts against me in ESPN standard scoring...

Alright guys, need dire assistance.

CJ Anderson and J Hill have both given me a 1-2 punch into my nuts. I need to make some remedies, stat.

This is an offer I was given:

Send Emmanuel Sanders, Den WR
Send Tevin Coleman, Atl RB

Receive Chris Ivory, NYJ RB
Receive Jordan Reed, Wsh TE

This would mean my WR unit would essentially be: G. Tate, Allen Robinson, and Cole Beasley.

I'd slide Chris Ivory into probably a RB1 or 2 slot alternating with CJ or Hill. I'd make Jordan Reed my TE1 with Heath Miller looming on the bench

Dalton or Flacco for a Cam Newton backup? Just going to drop Romo--not worth the roster spot and Cam's bye week is approaching soon.

Easily Dalton, the Bengals have a high powered offense that can compete with anybody's, besides the Ravens are an absolute mess. Luckily for me I picked up Dalton to back up Ben a couple days before Ben got hurt.

Hopefully he doesn't get snatched up then. Also have Rishard Matthews and Karlos Williams on the waiver wire (to replace Marques Colston and Zach Ertz).

Is Alfred Blue worth picking up? I'm thinking he should be worth it if Foster doesn't come back this week. Maybe he could be a bye week fill in or something. There isnt anyone better out there.

I kinda screwed myself this week dropping Dalton forgetting Brady had a bye. Picked up Tannehill, but will drop him if I can get Tyrod Taylor or Carr.

The Taylor or the Carr?
If you're going to call QBs by cute nicknames, at least use the right ones.
Tyrod Taylor is now affectionately referred to by Bills fans as T-Mobile.

The thing I don't like about that is you're getting two very injury prone players in return. Ivory already has a quad strain and it's not enough to stop me from trying to by low on him myself, just be aware of the risk. Plus Reed has an inaccurate QB throwing at him in a run first offense with DJax coming back soon to take targets away.

If that's the most value you can get for Sanders/Coleman swing for the fences and hope for the best case scenario just know your season pretty much rides on that trade working out. I'd try and shop Anderson first before you pull the trigger(and after for a WR if you do the trade).

I'm a little bias because I'm a fan of the raiders, but I just don't see Chicago putting up a fight against the raiders this week.

I have Carr, Cooper, Murray and their defense on my line up for espn.

My current line up as of right now.

QB: Carson Palmer
RB1: Le'Veon Bell
RB2: Latavius Murray
WR1: Julio Jones
WR2: Amari Cooper
TE: Greg Olsen
FLEX: Matt Jones
D/ST: Patroits (BYE, though picking up Oakland in the waiver wire)
K: Justin Tucker

The first and only time I have ever put my eggs in one basket in fantasy last year. Will lighting strike twice for another AFC West team? (Jags were far and way the worst team last year at that time if I remember correctly).

AJ Green going forward. Should I try to sell high on him? He's got a brutal schedule this year.

Kansas City
Seattle
@Buffalo
Cleveland x2 (Joe Haden)
@Arizona
@Denver

Damn that's a tough one. If you can get a packaged deal or someone with the same value as AJ, I say do it. Though I think AJ is a better WR then Amari Cooper, and Hadden got burned all throughout the game while trying to cover him. I think Cinnci will still keep the momentum but who knows. Any given Sunday.

FAAB blind bidding always makes for some fun discussions afterwards.

Here's what went down tonight in the war for Karlos Williams in the Yahoo Fantasy Football Play or Die 16-team standard league...

$97 Winning Bid - Bail Kings Eastcoast

Long Island Broskis $78 (Outbid)
TDs N` Beer $42 (Outbid)
Peyton's Floaters $30 (Outbid)
Measure of a Manning $26 (Outbid)
Knuck If You Chuck $25 (Outbid)
1% Defense Force $25 (Outbid)
O.Munn's Tight End $25 (Outbid)
Psycho Crushers $20 (Outbid)
Florida Men $15 (Outbid)
RedBull Express PoD $7 (Outbid)
store jerk's Team $7 (Outbid)

I'm not sure what the folks bidding $7 were thinking.
And I'm always amused by the round dollar figure bids. I almost always +$1 if I can.

Sort of happy that Crazymoogle pulled this one off. He's 0-3 in this league and in dire need of a spark with both C.J. Anderson and Lamar Miller struggling out of the gate.
Sometimes you really do need to go "all in" with your FAAB budget. That was most certainly the case here.

FAAB blind bidding always makes for some fun discussions afterwards.

I'm kind of insulted nobody else bid in the 90's. Here's a guy who has produced every week despite being the #2. He is the #10 RB in fantasy _right now_, on a team that loves to run and is defense first. AND he may start this week in a great matchup.

I mean, it's not as flashy a way into the lineup as guy X going to IR and his backup taking his place, but this is the kind of guy you need to overpay heavily for. And because all of my RBs have otherwise just done nothing this year, the whole league should have known I would bet big. I actually was worried I might lose, since I saved $1 and several people had the full $100 to work with.

Of course, I need to deal Yeldon or something now, but that's a much smaller problem than being 0-3 with the most points against.

Was in desperate need of a QB so I traded TY Hilton for Cam Newton.

Good trade on my end?

I picked up Marvin Jones off the waiver so now Im running with Decker, M. Jones and Sanders as my WR

Managed to get Karlos Williams and Rishard Matthews off waivers this week, definitely playing Williams in flex instead of Yeldon.

Matthews has been looking good, should I play him in WR over Golden Tate?

I would. I'm always nervous starting players at Wembley but as I said earlier, performance is pretty reasonable and Matthews has been playing better than Tate as a red zone threat. Finally, I would really just rather roll the dice on Matthews getting Cromartie instead of Revis versus Tate who is very likely getting Richard Sherman (while the corners and safety handle Megatron)

I like it, if you needed QB well here's a stable option and you can free up your bench as needed. Hilton is great but he's not elite right now so it's a fair deal.

Here are my lineup questions:
QB- Derek Carr, Stafford or Vick? Leaning towards Carr because he has a very favorable matchup
RB1- Jamaal Charles
RB2- Latavius Murray
WR1- Randall Cobb
WR2- Jordan Matthews
TE- Eifert or Witten? Eifert has shown promise, but he goose egged me last week, so I'm not sure what to think of him going forward.
FLEX- James Jones
D/S/T- Texans
K- Hauschka

Thanks, pretty much my thinking. If Tate was actually putting up numbers this would be a harder choice.

Feeling good about my team this week, think I've got it set how I want it.

Carr for sure. The Bears are hopeless on defense, and you just saw what the Raiders did to weak teams.

For TE, you have to expect problems every week unless you have Gronkowski. I'd have no problem rolling out Eifert every week. HOWEVER, this is the rare week where I would consider Witten, because even though Weeden caps Witten's upside at probably 10 fantasy points...the Saints are the second worst team right now vs. tight ends. So I'd probably go Witten. Guaranteed usage + best matchup.

Interesting, I didn't know this. I'll start Witten then, thanks!

Hi guys, Quick question.

Should I pick up Dion Lewis (RB Pats) or Karlos Williams (RB Bills)

This is long term, not for just this weekend since Lewis in on BYE. Combined yardage between rushing and receiving for points too.

I'd say Lewis for long term, he looks really good. I usually avoid Patriot RBs due to Belichick being weird and benching them for stuff we can't actually see on the field, but I'd definitely pick up Lewis if he was still available in my league.

If you can only pick up one (I mean really, I'd drop many WR3 for both) it's Dion Lewis. The Pats are in FU mode. Brady is passing every chance he gets until the game is out of hand. Lewis is basically Vereen+ right now and they will ride him until he's hurt. Pick him up and start him every week. Don't even think of him as an RB, but as an WR in an RB slot

Okay I will get Lewis. He will be fighting for my Number 2. We do not have flex positions. We have 6WR and 4RB. No waver, we have 4 supplemental drafts. This league has been around (but tweaked/changed/etc) since '89!

Thanks for the help! I will need to follow this thread more!

Should i drop Todd Gurley to pick up Matt Jones from the waiver? The rest of my bench is pretty stacked and Gurley is the only one who isn't proven (due to injuries of course),i'm also not sure what to think of the Rams O line.

For WR2 or FLEX (if Alshon Jeffery is not 100%):

- Anquan Boldin; or
- Sammy Watkins (someone just dropped him); or
- Rishard Matthews

Thanks in advance.

Also, should I drop Terrance Williams (he's eating up a spot on my bench at the moment and I may want to stash Julius Thomas. Very wary to play him given Weeden is the QB).

Gurley has the most upside. The Rams have basically swept away the rest of their RBs like flotsam. But he needs time, so you can keep him on the bench for awhile yet.

Jones has higher upside today, in that the Washingtons keep using him. But he had some early fumblitis, Alfred Morris is still perfectly upright, and the team is inexplicably sticking to Kirk Cousins.

My guess is Gurley has more value end of the season, so he's my keep of the two. But it's not a guarantee. Lots of ways one guy could be better than the other.

Rishard Mathews. Boldin is Kaepernick limited and Watkins probably won't play.

Should I drop Terrance Williams? I already have Witten and he's proven to be quite reliable.

I have no interest in Terrance because Weeden is a poor man's Kirk Cousins right now. If he is benched for Matt Cassel he suddenly has (some) value. But yeah I have no problem dropping Williams.

Ok so I already have Brown and Big Ben on my team. If I could add Le'veon by trading away Carlos Hyde and Tyler Eifert would that be a good idea? There's this guy in my league infatuated with Eifert and I think he would bite. Only problem is I don't want to lay all my eggs in one basket. What do you guys think?

It's tough because I guess we really don't now what Mike Vick we'll see out there. Bell has a high floor with all of the passes he catches, and Brown is already great too. Eifert should come back and do well. It's hard to trust Hyde if the 49ers are playing from behind. He might lose some snaps when Bush comes back too. I say do it. IMO Bell is the best running back in the league.

Who are you replacing Big Ben with?
