24 needs to be done, because it had definitely run out of steam, but MAN, they are going out with a bang. The last couple hours have been two of the finest in the show's history. I am PUMPED for the finale.

I want full body armor and a weapon like that. Oh god that would be fun...

Wait till Jack uses the Mark III in the finale.

It just keeps getting better. Amazing finale.

Wonder if Jack was recording that conversation. After all he's done, he has to go after Subarov himself. Wouldn't hurt to leak it all out as well though, just to screw Logan one more time.

Finally, THIS is the 24 we all know and love. Too bad it took this long to get here.

Someone needs to make some kick ass avatars of that Army of Two suit/scene.

Amazing episode. I don't see how Jack can live after this though, he'll be the most wanted man in the world. Even if he unveils the entire conspiracy, he's attacked a former president and killed the high ranking officials of another. There's no coming back from this just like he told the guy in this episode.

Even though she died, Renee can rest in peace knowing that her death was instrumental in redeeming this season. What a great turn around these past few episodes have been, TV at it's finest.

You know that he's going after Subarov too. He just stormed in and immediately killed the man taking his orders, there's no way that Jack simply sits back and exposes the rest. If he manages to kill the Russian President...

He certainly isn't going to be living out his life in LA with his grand daughter. I could possibly see him heading out to the IRK to atone, especially if the peace deal falls through because of his actions.

Completely agree. The show definitely needed to end because they were clearly running out of ideas. But I'm so glad one of my favorite shows of all time is going out amazingly.

WOW WOW WOW

end of an era right here.

now post this 5 more times for old times sake

Btw guys, every time they show the "season finale" previews, it's always for hour one. We don't know what to expect in the final hour yet.

OHHHH MYYY GODDD!!

I just saw the episode, I can't even contain myself, THAT WAS FUCKING AMAZING!!!

I must say that Itzin deserves another Emmy, just on this episode alone. That scene with him and Taylor at the start, Logan might as well have been wearing a devil suit. He is so perfect as that slimy evil bastard.

The army of one scene is easily one of the greatest moments in 24 history. The person who made it work was again Itzin.

I honestly have no clue how this will end, Bauer has finally gone too far. There is no coming back from this, I don't even know how a movie will be possible. The only way is if it's some villain so badass that only one person in the world could stop him, and they need to release Bauer from jail/mental hospital/ space prison/ where ever they keep him if they even capture him. That final scene at the Russian office was like a horror movie, better than a horror movie.

This is some of the finest TV I have ever seen. Next week will be nothing short of spectacular. I am so glad this show is going out like this, at it's very best.

This episode was legendary, probably the best since the season 5 finale. Bauer in the blast shield and riot armor was some chilling shit. Logans face was priceless.

Damnit where's Ripclawe?! He's the one who always has the 24 gifs up and running, and this episode totally earns them!

Logan's acting throughout the whole episode was just amazing, from his continuous manipulations of Taylor to wetting himself at the sight of Jack Bauer. :lol

I suppose the only disappointment was that Novakovitch's death was off screen, but it was awesome seeing how he ended up. :D

All that was missing was a sign taped to him saying "Jack Bauer was here"

Fantastic fucking episode. It was disappointing that Lazarevic's death was off-screen, but that sweeping reveal was hilariously awesome.

Goddamn.

My girlfriend HATES Logan and LOVES Jack, so I'll just say that she was marking out like a 9-year-old wrestling fan during the kidnap sequence. I also skipped the preview for the first time in forever so I can go into the final night untainted.

GODDAMN.

The past few episodes of 24 have been some of the most entertaining TV I have seen in a while. Crazy ass insane Jack in riot gear going after an ex president is the most badass thing I have ever seen.

Jesus this episode was WIN all over. Fucking BULLET PROOF MASK.

Also, for people that watched La Femme Nikita, you guys must have noticed the Birkoff reference!

For the first time ever I wanted to see this message. So many years of it. OMG that was the last preview of 24, it just hit me... :( :( :( :(

I have to say that FOX sucks at advertising. This is the end of 24, the greatest drama show in their channel's history. And all we get is a preview that is exactly like every preview. It was the same voice guy, with the same tone and a quick mention, "in the series finale, blah blah blah"

Do you see what ABC is doing with LOST? They have turned that finale into an epic event. Make a preview that does justice to the entire show. Come on.

Since when does bauercount.com not work? Has it been down for a while? Regardless, I'm interested in seeing if Jack can break his season 6 record of 50 kills. It all depends on these last two episodes.

Like everyone else, I fucking shat my pants as hard as Logan undoubtedly did when Bauer assaulted the motorcade. Working his way down the tunnel, methodically taking down the Secret Service agents, and then blasting an opening in the limo for the tear gas-- all while looking like fucking death itself-- the show hasn't delivered action like that in what feels like ages.

It really can't be said enough: the last 10 or so hours have featured some of the best sequences the show has done, and by themselves entirely redeemed what started of as an agonizingly tedious season. Just about everything following Hassan's death has been 24 at its best. Shame it took them so long to get it together, but I'm so glad they're going out in top form.

Next week will be unbelievable. :D

Seen every season. My mom actually got me in to it. She loves the show. Not necessarily going to miss it, but it's been awesome. They're really going out in a bang and I love it.

I honestly don't know how they can top that scene.

You'd definitely need to have Jack use a mini-gun to clear out the guards and literally crucify the Russian prez*.

*with the Prez's shattered femurs.

So, I just watched the preview for next week on youtube, and there's a moment in the preview that could be nothing, or could be something. I took a pic of it, click at your own discretion.

Is that Tony? Or Rickers? Or just some random shlub?

That was freaking epic. One of the best episodes of the series. I can't believe it's finally ending now though. It's been so long since I watched my first episode of 24. I was with the series since the very first episode went to TV.

There's definitely been some lows (the early parts of this season springs to mind) but its going out with a bang.

I really hope Jack manages to take out the Russian Pres in the finale. I want him to be complete in his task. There worst thing that could happen is he gets interrupted and doesn't get the shot off, because that'd leave me wanting, which is not good for a series finale. Looking forward to it though.

Im going to miss the soundtrack the most I think. especially the opening clock noise. Hearing that just brightens up any day.

Random schlub
. Its really not even close to the other two.

My pants EXPLODED

This season has been redeemed a million times since Hassan died. What a balls to the fucking wall bad ass second half. Cant wait till next week.

So is any entertainment show or magazine doing anything on the 24 finale. I know EW has a whole LOST issue. Is there anything for 24 out there?
