I wonder if Jack will be arrested and put into a cell with Tony at the end. I mean Jack is pretty much where Tony was at the end of last season... just fed up with the government and not giving a damn anymore. Then the two of them could team up again in the movie!

24/Prison Break crossover.

ok guys, i gotta ask because im honestly too afraid to read most of this thread.. so let's keep this simple... is this a good season or not?
First half is simply terrible. But since FOX announced that the show wouldn't come back, things got a lot better. I think the last 4 or 5 episodes are all I ever wanted to see Jack Bauer do since season 6.

not sure what you mean, but I did actually catch myself thinking "there are gonna be some epic GIFs on gaf tomorrow" :lol

He means why didn't they just upload the evidence to youtube?

2 hours left, but
WHERE IS AARON? He needs to show up finally to be in every season damnit

I hope they do some callback to S5 where Palmer gets assassinated but with Suvarov on the receiving end of Jack Bauer's sniper rifle.

Also, the only person worthy of killing Jack Bauer should be Aaron Pierce, who will kill him and become the next Jack Bauer.

reporters are silly, but I hope the ex-CIA dude Jack got all his gear from made a copy just in case...

Fucking awesome episode. I just want Aaron Pierce to appear one last time and I'll be happy. Surely they can't have him appear in every season except the last one.

this really bugged me. Of course in real like, he would have it copied before he even talked to Jack about it. But of course in 24-land, he didn't make a copy.

god damn, that was a fucking amazing episode.

24 is going out with a bang. They better have Jack killing all the guards and the Russian dude as a deleted scene :lol

Godamn what an episode.

Since episode 8, this season has been absolutely great. If the finale is half as good as its shaping up to be, I'm putting it up there with Season 1 and 3. In that quick shot when he's setting up and you see the glimpse of the mask, I squealed like a child on Christmas. Only 24 can do that to me.

Bauer Power has reached critical heights.

That was an incredible episode. One of the best in the series. Renee's death has unleashed hell. Jack assaulting Logan's limo in full body armor might be the most bad ass moment in the show. So fucking good. Also didn't hurt to have an amazing guy like Itzin in that scene. Who wouldn't shit their pants at the sight of that? The brief conversation between Bauer and Logan underground was great too.

The second half of this season has turned out much better than I expected. Not sure where to rank this season now among the rest of the series. Hopefully, the series finale will do the series justice and deliver some fuckawesome action just like this episode did. Cannot wait. "There is nothing more dangerous than a wounded animal." :D

Now I am sad that the series is ending next week :( I never thought I'd say that at the beginning of this season but I want more Jack :( and yes, I know a movie will most likely happen, but still.

Season 7's beginning + Season 8's ending = no definition
In terms of timeline? I thought it was at least 2015 by this point, if not a little bit later.

I was just making a dumb joke about the show overlooking the logical thing to do, anyway :)

Man, the motorcade scene has to be up there as one of the best 24 scenes ever. I couldn't believe what I was seeing. Itzin's fear and anguish was priceless.

I was bummed Jack didn't keep the mask on for the rest of the episode.

That's gotta to be one of the most epic 24 episodes ever! I was literally squealing like a little child when Logan said "that's Jack Bauer".:lol :lol

The last few episodes of the season have reached epic proportions I tell ya.:D

SHIT. Just watched the episode, and it's easily the most action-driven episode 24 has ever seen, topping all of the crazy stuff they've used on season finales.

I gotta say, this season started off slow, but it's really picked up like no other. I can't even imagine what kind of curveballs the finale will throw, but I've finally gotten to the point where I'm a little sad that the show is completely over next week...

Missed it last night. Best. Damn. Episode. Jack going ape shit on Logan was awesome.

I'm also super glad that he didn't kill him, if only because we get to see Jack (and hopefully Aaron, the man has to show up before this season's up) expose that Logan gave up the Suvarov motorcade back in S5. That was Logan can suffer death/fear at someone other than Jack. Logan doesn't deserve Jack, he deserves a lifetime of shame and being paranoid.

I just want to know how it ends, they've always talked about Jack dying maybe or maybe not being the end game. I really want to know how they deal with it. All I know is I don't want Jack to die from some lackey slashing him randomly. Unless the irony is that he dies from them reopening the stab wound made by Renee earlier this season. :lol

I wonder if Jack was also recording the conversation Logan was having with the Russian president guy, instead of merely listening in. I don't think Jack will kill Logan, so what's the next best thing to do? Utterly ruin his reputation by leaking the convo to the press. The writers made sure to enunciate Logan's desire for a complete rehabilitation of his image, and what better way than to have Jack screw him over (again).

Yeah, the parallels are pretty obvious.

Tony lost michelle, jack lost audre- I mean renee.
Tony goes bad guy, jack goes bad guy.

I was hoping the show would end with jack killing Logan.

Season 1 - Jack bauer stops an assassination attempt against a presidential candidate.
Season 2-7- Jack saves the world 22 times, gets no respect
Season 8 - Jack bauer assassinates a former president

Holy shit, great episode. Although gotta admit, I don't like the whole "it was the Russian president all this time!" angle. He seemed pretty sensible in S5

Jack has to die, there's no coming back from this. Although it would be hilarious if he survives, gets life in prison, and the finale ends with a jump 30 years into the future as President Keith Palmer pardons Jack and Tony :lol

You know, from the clip released for next week, that's
exactly what they're going to do.

Chloe is going to flood the internet with the clip, as well as every single civil servant and agent's inbox in the entire USA. Seriously. :lol
