I mean there is always a mole ... but I totally didnt think it'd be her. I just thought she had the lame subplot like there is every season, but that lame subplot is just her cover ... that she has apparently been working on for her whole life.

This is the only thing that can redeem this season for me.

Tony isn't in this season at all but somebody from the past is

I'm still laughing at the big reveal. I have never thought less of this show than I do right now, though I should have expected it. Good god. Fuck.

It's like 24 writers never learn or something.

fuck it.. how can you have the final Season of 24(possibly) without a Mole??

I don't have a problem with this because.

A. It's 24.
B. It's the first mole in a fuckin long time everyone didn't see coming from a mile away.

WTF! :lol :lol :lol
Freaking MOLEZ! So did she kill him or just put him to "sleep"? I assumed she killed him, but it looked like he was still breathing on the ground there.

Oh snap! Preview looks cool for next week. I dunno if I like this season yet, but the last two episodes have been aight.

Sadly the only thing that has gotten me through this whole sub plot so far has been the fact that at least there hasn't been a mole in CTU. Oh well.

Yes, 24's always been about the moles, but this one was totally unexpected. At least, I didn't expect it. Heh.

yeah, I mean. It's kinda "argh another mole!" but at least they choose a character that we didn't see coming a mile away. Honestly I could've expected Arlo (or whatever that nerd's name is) or maybe Freddie Prinze Jr.... but I didn't expect her.

I'm glad because like others pointed out, now Jack can shoot her in the face.

EDIT: BTW, what happened to Tony last season? Did he just get arrested and shelved for use later, or did he die? And I've been wondering this all season, what's the deal with Rene Walker? What season is she from... how did it end with her losing her job? Can someone give me a three sentence synposis on her character before this season?

Another mole...

The classic 24 crutch.

Come on, tonight's entire episode felt like 24 fan fiction. Chloe with a gun, Jack in an hour long shootout while never needing ammo (or, for that matter, hitting a single person), idiot agents waiving their arms around and saying shoot me in the face please...if this episode didn't end with the reveal of a CTU mole I would have been disappointed.

Well, at least I can understand now why she didn't come clean when she was being blackmailed. It wasn't just "oh boo hoo, my job and my fiance", but it would more or less blow her MOLEE COVER.

There's been much much worse Mole Reveals. Mexican CTU Agent acting as a bad guy acting as a CTU Agent in Season 3, and Black Jack's Techie Girlfriend were horrible moles.

So all that makes it good? I can deal with everything else. I just get tired of the mole crutch.

Finally we get the CTU mole, now the Boring to Bauer ratio shifts in Jack's favor.

But you know, somebody is gonna hear through the walls of CTU, "Now, I've just got a few questions to ask you."

A nice sized 24 thread, NPC deaths, Chloe actually doing something, MOOOOOOOOLEE!, lot's of Bauer gunplay..

say want you want about this episode, but this is vintage 24 all the way around and it feels good...it feels good.

Honestly, there's no way this season beats any other season, minus S6 at this point.

And they are seriously heading towards S6 for me...

Still better than S6. Seriously, remember that season had
JACK'S EVIL DAD AND EVIL BROTHER and RICKY SCHROEDER.

Then again S6 did have Fayed and those awesome first 4 eps...

It's like when Jim Zorn found out he wasn't going to be the coach of the Washington Redskins next season and ran the swinging gate fake FG formation (which may have been the funniest thing I've ever seen, ever) because he knew it was all going to end soon. The writers had nothing but Jack this week, or so I thought, and what did he do all episode? At least Renee is back, Milton is dead, and that we can look forward to Dana getting pumped full of lead by her fiancee.

Yes but that was James Cromwell. James Cromwell made it great. Season 6's biggest flaw was the implied subplot, "Lets get a actor that looks like he could be Kim's brother and say he's Jack's nephew and imply he had a thing with his mom then never come back to it"

No, I'm saying it was all spectacularly horrible. If you're going to start complaining about this episode (or this season in general), then 24 tropes are pretty far down the list of things to get annoyed with.

Ok, can anyone explain how she was revealed as a mole? I missed the last 2min cause of shitty AT&T.

She made a call to the guy who isn't Arab Bauer saying CTU was back online.

I told you guys it was all about the drones!

Hmm, there was a lot to process in that episode. Didn't pick up on the mole.. in fact, I doubt there were any clues.

She strangled the parole officer and called up the terrorist head honcho to say that CTU is operational again.

Season 6 was a bunch of 24 cliches done in the most boring way possible. This season is still a bunch of 24 cliches, but a lot more entertaining.

I can't turn my back on this show, no matter how hilariously awful it becomes. I will be with Jack until the end.

Well, there was that tiny fact that she went to kill somebody who threatened to reveal that she has a criminal past and an assumed identity that she used to get a CTU job she shouldn't have had.

That little thing.

We were just all too busy hating how horrible everything about that plot was to realize it wasn't a sub-plot. No, we thought. There's no possible way this matters. Get it over with and move on with the important stuff. But they got us, didn't they. Yep. Good job 24 writers. You made us hate the main plot instead of a sub plot.

I guess the biggest clue is after a season of Chloe doing favors she showed her gratitude by throwing Chloe under the buss with the whole server issue. Thought it was odd, but I didn't connect the dots.

I figured she just didn't want Milton to say "oh, computers are working again, let's look up that video!"

24 writers took someone who could have been a real asset to the series and gave her one of the worst subplots in history of 24.

Even when I loved BSG, I thought that Sackhoff was one of the worst aspects of the show. I've never understood the love she gets.

Yes, I forgot about Jack's family. Okay, I retract my previous statement about S6=S8.

Also, I need to remind you that season 6 had
Jack helping a mentally retarded man for an entire episode, Jack playing with a video game joystick to lower down a drone, and President WAYNE PALMER who died and came back to life more times and in a quicker succession of episodes than Tony did all over his 6 seasons. Oh yeah, it also had a catatonic Audrey who Jack magically woke up using the power of his LOVE with literal sparks flying the background.

So yeah, this is better than Season 6.
