I want to know where Aaron Pierce is. I assume he might appear alongside
Logan
, however unrealistic that might be.

He's the only person other than Jack (And apparently one extra that always plays a background Secret Service Agent) to be in every season.

So what's the GAF reaction gonna be if she turns out to be a double agent working against the terrorists?

:lol :lol

Sounds like Tony Almeida last season.

I swear he changed sides every other episode. :lol

what was also frustrating was Jack's entire scene

Jack: OK! WE NEED EVERYONE TO WORK TOGETHER FOR THIS TO WORK

Everyone: OKAY!

*stupid SWAT red shirt panics, dies, ruins the plan*

Noobie: Oh noes! I'll forget my training and try to save this guy even though snipers are everywhere!

*Noobie dies*

smh

I was expecting Jack to just shoot the stranded bait red shirt guy in the head. He's gone too soft.

Wait a minute

If she is the mole, then what the hell was that whole bit in the previous episode about giving the files to the parole officer about? She was going to volentarily blow her cover? And wait. If she was a terrorist, then why didn't she immediately kill her old BF. Or, if she couldn't do it herself, just call up one of her terrorist buddies and say "We got a problem needing to be taken care of."?
She likely knew the EMP was coming. I'm guessing she planned to stall until it happened. Can't really explain why she didn't get someone else to go after her Ex instead of doing it herself though.

The last two episodes have been good again. Yes it's filled with 24 cliches but that is so much better than what we have been getting. It finally feels like 24 again. Next week looks awesome as well. It's a pretty bad season already, if using old crutches is the only way to get back on track use them. Nobody can tell me that the last two episodes were worse than what came before. The show is a lot better now.

You guys whining about a mole probably haven't seen Katee's previous work, she is gonna own this role.

When was the last time we had a mole anyway? And one that was actually semi surprsing?

I still can't get over the fact we have BOTH a mole and nuclear weapons in play YET AGAIN.

24 writers are worse than heroes. There. I said it.

rofl i hope it goes off and jack cries again.

i hated 24 until that episode. at that point i realized the show's camp factor. normally i'd just laugh at this turn of events. but i'm just not feelin' this one.

there is a whole wiki page on the moles of 24

http://24.wikia.com/wiki/Mole

Surprisingly, not as many CTU Moles as I thought. 2 in Season 1, and 1 in Season 8. You could count Marianne in Season 4, but she was brought in later in the day as a freelance techie (and her mole was regular ole industrial espionage.) Guy in Season 5 was kind of a mole, unwittingly, as he was appointed there to watch for the White House. Just the mole in the White House.

The White House is the one with teh mole problem. Stanton in S2, All those SS agents and senator aides in S7, The Prez and Eye Guy in S5. Also the guy from Entourage in the FBI.

24 really needs the cancel button :lol

why do I subject myself to this and why am I going to do it till the end of the season?! how many times has jack gone 'well, that about raps it up for me' and tried to commit suicide to get saved at the last second.

he's so damn brave go america.

Makes me laugh they didn't have the balls to just call madeupastan by a real countries name though. That way they won't offend anyone :lol

Really disappointed in the ending, but like others have said, it does make sense that she was able to procure a job like this with her terrorist connections.

And did I miss something?!? How did Renee know exactly where Jack was?

Chloe called her.

She was never going to blow her cover - she knew that the EMP would come in time to erase the security footage. She just had to make it look as though she was ready to give up.

I can't believe they pissed away the promise of episode 12 with that. AGAIN. Granted this episode was not bad, in fact it had some classic 24 moments (in a good way). The shootout was intense, Chloe being Chloe, Hastings is improving, etc. But god dammit. They managed to take the worst subplot of the season and pair it with the worst cliche of the series.

It really seems like they write themselves into corners. Dana hasn't had any time to help the terrorists, and has worked pretty actively to do her CTU job. The writers should go into every season with a small list of "DO NOTs," and moles should be at the top of the damn list.

Dana is evil? OH THANK GOD. Katee's shitty role redeemed.

I'm back.
:lol My feelings exactly.

Government traitors and moles are 24 bread and butter, so i'm never bothered when they go there. I can understand the vitriol in this thread, but honestly i'd rather her be another mole, because it actually puts her shitty subplot into context. Her behaviour finally (mostly) makes sense to me, so it partway redeeems what would have otherwise been 100% pointless filler. There were moments opposite Kevin where she showed that she might actually care for him, which explains why she didn't have him killed right away and gave him some chances to leave, before finally deciding to take him out.

I found it to be a gloriously entertaining reveal in that campy 24 way. Plus now we have a potentially awesome villainess played by an actress that can definitely pull it off. I'm mostly glad that Sackhoff might not be wasted like i had first thought.

I'm hoping for a Renee vs. Starbuck face-off. :D

Yep, really frustrating. Instead of having another stupid redshirt fucking things up, it would've been more believable to have one of them clipped on the leg or something, sending them all toppling.

I thought this episode was really good for Chloe's awesomeness alone. Her hilariously awkward attempt at channeling Bauer by pulling the gun on the asshat engineers is one of her best scenes ever. The delivery of "I'm not good with praise" was perfect as well. :lol

Why did you spoiler that? It already happened.

Anyways, the mole plot is a cheap way to create drama. Its lazy way to create a threat to the people at CTU.

That would be a spoiler. Better fix it befor someone goes off on you :)

Oh shit.

Sorry. Fixed it. Either way, it's pretty obvious something like that is going to happen - and it's what most people have wanted for the whole season. :lol

She is/was a comedian in real life before she started as Chloe on 24. Shes really personable off screen so that definitely is just an act.

Found them.

Obviously, don't click unless you want spoilers.

edit - hm, the photo I was referring to isn't on there anymore. Meh. But I've found this one to compensate:

Seeing that guy on the 24 set isn't much of a spoiler, considering he's been in every season. :lol

I'm of the opinion that Chloe is the one character that has fully outstayed her welcome, and should have been horrifically maimed in Season 5 instead of Michelle.

You want an example of good comic relief on 24? Look no further than George Mason in season 1 and 2. What a guy.

I dont find her very funny.. kinda painfully awkward really. The Chloe persona is pretty close to her stand-up. :lol

If Tarin was willing to sacrifice himself with the president during the car bombing back in episode 2, why didn't he just shoot the president after the accident? He was with him all the time, being the chief of security.

I just watched this tonight and I'm choking on my own rage over here. I cannot fucking believe they are playing the Goddamn mole card again. It's officially beyond a joke. I literally cannot fathom how the writers thought that it was acceptable to trot this cliched plot line out once again. Lazy sons a bitches.

I think that's it for me with this show. I've watched it since season one and at this point it feels like I'm watching the same episodes over and over again.
