Homeland sweep...

Jimmy was talking last week about how The Emmy's are the only awards show that have to hit their schedule and can't go long like you see at others.

Seems like they rushing to hit the deadline.

Homeland, an excellent show among excellent shows. Tough category but it deserves the win as much as BB or MM.

Shame about Boardwalk not taking it, but that was expected. Crazy to see Mad Men lose for once. I'll have to check out Homeland, maybe if I can get the blu for cheap. No Showtime at my house.

edit: $34.99 for the blu-ray, is it worth it?

edit 2: fuck it, bought

So Aaron Paul only? Kind of nuts given all the nominations. At least expected Craston and the show to walk away with the award. And, Gus moreso than Paul. Paul has been great but that was mostly in season 3.

Emmys are worse than the Oscars I think. It's almost always a sweep, awards are never spread out, and aside from one or two "surprises" (Peter Dinklage, Melissa McCarthy) every few years it's way more predictable than any other awards show.

Meh.

that and you know when the final episodes air it will win everything being the series ending ala return of the king oscar style.

Man Drama is so Incredible good this year that I was fine with any of them winning tbh. Comedy on the other hand is just sad, I mean wtf is P&R!?!?
