Man Drama is so Incredible good this year that I was fine with any of them winning tbh. Comedy on the other hand is just sad, I mean wtf is P&R!?!?

Tell me you mean "where the fuck" and not "what the fuck."

Dexter fall's from grace is pretty drastic. Loved the first 4 seasons so much. Last 2 have been laughable. I think when they lost the show runner/exec producer and replaced him with some dude from 24 it went downhill. It's almost like a parody at times now.

I'd bet that a pretty big split in the vote between Breaking Bad and Mad Men paved the way for a Homeland victory.

Homeland is genuinely great. Really fucking good. But it's definitely not on a Mad Men or Breaking Bad level. It's very, very close, though.

And I'm also fairly certain that it will have a very short shelf life. Or that Showtime will ruin it.

Absolutely not. Breaking Bad and Mad Men are two of the greatest TV series of all time. They are god-tier...legendary. Homeland is a fine show but it's a rung or two below, easily.

Exactly what I'd respond with. Homeland is certainly a good show, but it isn't one of the greatest of all time.

I don't think Showtime will ruin it, but the premise can't be strung out over an extended period of time. It needs 4 seasons, maybe five and end it.
