moved to community? NOOOOOOOOOOOO

Great now people will miss great music because of this.

Kavinsky and Perturbator are the "biggest" names that "started" the genre so they will always be looked upon and every new track will be picked apart :D

Miles Prowers new EP: https://futurecityrecords.bandcamp.com/album/azurea-ep
Action Jackson put out a new album too: https://actionjacksonmusic.bandcamp.com/album/miami-kill

And i just saw American Ninja 2 randomly on TV again and it reminded me how fucking badass the theme track in it was: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CvFZ_WZpQZQ

Damn good stuff sir!

Been in a little shopping-spree going through noisepurge's collection xD

Bought a lot of things. Too bad some previous purchases don't translate to the collection (like Perturbator's I am the night vinyl and Kavinsky's Outrun vinyl).

Month's favourite, this guy here: https://sung-music.bandcamp.com/album/overizer-ep

My God. Reminds me a lot of Kavinsky's Outrun with a little more speed.

damn. community.
post count already dwindling.

yeah, community is where threads go to die :( only the ones who've subscribed to this will be posting anymore.

But there will eventually be a "hey guys, i just listened to Hotline Miami soundtrack" new thread by someone who doesn't know about this one, and there we can continue until it gets locked or moved too!

You have to employ nefarious strategy when relegated to community. As you say, when the hotline miami threads come up you have to jump in and mention this thread before the grey clawed hand comes up from the hole and pulls you back in.

On another note, I'm in the Carpenter Brut/Perturbator/Dance with the dead fan camp and I recently stumbled on F.O.O.L. The album/ep Visions in particular is pretty good. It's on spotify. Veering slightly away from the 80s vibe, but good nonetheless.

I'm sure a lot of us do, but being moved to community means no new posters... which does not bode well for this thread in the long run.

I agree. A big part is learning of new music and this thread and its objectives will suffer under the community title if people don't know about it.

How can we get whoever moved it here to move it back?

I think someone has to talk to a mod. It's the only way to save this thread.

Retro-styled synthpop band with a very polished, bass-heavy sound. Definitely worth a listen if you're into classic 80s groups like Talk Talk and Dead Or Alive.

Little late, but thanks for pointing this album out. Really love it and have listened to it plenty the past few days.

WIthin a few minutes, this thread has turned into one of my GAF favourites. I've discovered 4trakz and The Midnight ... and it's glorious.

Guys, check out 20SIX Hundred if you haven't already. Some excellent stuff!

There's an album called Player One, which is like an OST to a made-up game, with titles such as Level Select, Open World, Survival Horror and more.

Happy Mad Max Week!

Considering perhaps all of the outfits they've tapped for their music are awesome folks that've popped up in the thread many times over---I'd say that fits like a charm.

I remember downloading this when it first came out. I have to say, this is honestly one of my favourite albums from this genre (or genres) that I've ever heard. It's so good. I love the softer, almost ambient tracks.

As a giant Fallout fan I'm always reminded of that universe when I listen to this. Dude could score Fallout 4 forreal.
