Good article.
Drive wasn't scored by Clint Mansell though, so that's one nitpick.
yeah wtf, robbing Cliff Martinez!

Just a heads-up that there's a "Future 80s" bundle over at Groupees that's still in pre-order phase for the next half-hour or so. Has 8 albums and is currently going for a dollar (likely $2 when the bundle goes live). I'm sure a lot of you remember how awesome the Synthwave bundle was, and I have a feeling this one will be just as good.
One of the announced bonuses is VHS Dreams' "Trans Am", which sounds amazing!
Ron Cannon - Blue Light Murder
This is a great thread.
Dance With The Dead have come out with a new version of The Poison. It foregoes the original version's electronic focus and is more of a pure electronic metal track. The track is still absolutely mental though.

I just saw it on the community board and decided to check it out.Out of sheer curiosity, how did you find it? Newcomers are not as plentiful as they once were now that we're on the Community board.

Liked this one a lot more than his last one, "Parasite." Very catchy. This new Trevor Something song hasn't been posted yet.

Can't wait for his new album. It was supposed to release in summer.

What's been everybody's official track of the summer?
Mine's been Revel in Your Time (MN84 RMX) by GUNSHIP.
Sweet, sweet sounds of the summer.
I was wrong. EPII is not a dud. It might be Brut's best EP.
Looking For Tracy Tzu is an incredible song.

any gaffers tomorrow at the Perturbator, GosT, Dan Terminus, Flash Arnold gig will get a free beer from me! just come to the DJ-booth and find the guy with a mohawk.
and welcome to my party!
We're at 65% until Trans-Am unlocks -- it seems like we should have no problem breaking $2,000 in the next 12 days.
I need to check that out.
Yeah, pretty much all of the tracks in epII are amazing. Not sure how you got the idea that it was a dud. I mean, dat sexkiller on the loose alone...
I don't know what I was thinking. lol.
Maybe it's because the more I search for more synth wave, the more it all sounds the same to me. I listened to EPII at the wrong time.
I'm trying my hardest to like Dance with the Dead. Excluding Into the Abyss, nothing really grabs me. I feel like their songs have great hooks, but other than that, the song just happens. It chugs along relying on the hook, and then it fizzles out. I have all of their albums now, so everyone please recommend me your favorite tracks and I'll start by giving those another change.
Hey, my synth-listening friends!
A few month ago I posted about some dude calling himself DUETT. He hadn't done much, but he still became one of my favorite synth-composers with the few songs he did.
It's taken quite a while, but here's his new album and the waiting was worth it. Seriously, don't pass this up.

Don't forget to listen to his old album, if you haven't yet.
