80s style synth-pop/electro synth/cyberpunk music

Clear is cheaper than glow in the dark?

Isn't the clear most limited version though?

Same goes for the black/splatter/swirl versions.
Black is more limited than swirl or splatter but is cheaper
The pricing makes no sense =/

Grabbed the clear box.

And yeah, glow in the dark is more expensive to manufacture. But the coloured ones and black should all costs the same.

Killer song. Gotta hear it a few more times though. Loved it.

I REALLY want to hear those vocal tracks soon! May is tooooo far.

Shit, I guess we should be fortunate there was a larger press for this run. I was able to order the Limited Edition 3x LP, Limited Edition 2x CD, normal edition of the black 2x LP, and CD.

I think you are from Finland? Are shipping costs usually that high over there?
For comparison: In Germany I had the option to send 3LPs for 7€ internationally without tracking, 17€ with tracking.

Oh yeah, our postal office is the devil. Any small box, just within Finland and the prices start from 8€. BloodMusic is in a tough place when they have to ship everything from here and stuff is really expensive. And you have to remember it's just ONE guy who has to package and CARRY all the orders to the postal office (no car).

I buy most of my vinyl from Germany and enjoy that 5-7€ shipping, sometimes even via One Day UPS Delivery...
Honestly think it would be best if BloodMusic -guy could relocate to Germany.

Oh wow he's really dedicated. Thanks for the insight.
I also support your suggestion of him relocating to Germany ;)

A vinyl release maybe? You know, I have been thinking about why artists like Perturbator are releasing on vinyl and it suddenly occured to me: They're preparing the cyberpunk dystopian future where digital goods are forever erased/banned, and people are too busy pulling the pud on VR porn with their headsets...

I'm not a vinyl guy, but a Perturbator glow in the dark vinyl on my wall would be pretty badass.

I know, right? The main middle melody is infectious.

Finally sitting here with a chance to watch the whole video. Wow, if these are tracks from his new album it may be even better than I could imagine. If not, the soundtrack to this game better be for sale at some point.

Looks like you were right on the money.

Hotline Miami Collector's Edition vinyl on Kickstarter

Beg to differ. It's 3 EP's combined over several years of work of some of the greatest tracks in the genre.

Let me clarify: 50 dollars for 3 vinyl LPs? Probably worth it.

But $50 for a CD? You can buy the MP3s for the entire thing for 11 Euros. You can buy it over 3 CDs for 19 Euros.

That $50 price is just ridiculous.

...i pay almost 50$ for all game soundtracks from iam8bit and Data Discs with shipping :(

and this acetate pressing of Atrey's Dark Prince,

Sorry bro...

Has the Synthwave scene gained any traction in Japan? Usually they are pretty quick to latch on to new musical movements, as was the case with Techno and Psytrance which saw lots of artists out of Japan. But haven't seen much from the Synthwave side yet. I figure they'd be all over the more melodic stuff like Mitch Murder.

I'm guessing you know about satellite young/bellemaison if you're asking about japan x mitch murder in particular?
Haven't heard anything apart from them either.

2. Volt Age feat. Jakob Betke - Black Ice
3. The Midnight - The Equalizer (Not Alone)
4. Niky Nine feat. Absolute Valentine - Road Part 2
5. Lazerhawk - Space Station
6. Absolute Valentine - Extreme Drift
7. Phaserland - Night Rain
8. Robert Parker - Race To Paris
9. Dance With The Dead - Snapped
10. Ludrium - Starlight Desire

Quite an impressive cast of synthwave artists. Let's hope the album delivers!

'Of all the raging stupidity.

"The Uncanny Valley" artwork was deemed too explicit by Blood Music's digital distributor vis-à-vis overprotective rules from iTunes, which has affected upload to Spotify, Google Play, and nearly every other digital service.

We vehemently refuse to package a censored version of the art as an official release, as it is simply a **drawing** of a woman with no shirt on. Technically not even a woman at that - an android with human female form.
This wouldn't be much different than demanding that the Venus de Milo needs to put a shirt on before exhibition. Or any of the thousands of other pieces of fine art depicting the naked human form that are freely on display for people of all ages and backgrounds around the world.

We were forced to choose the back album cover of "The Uncanny Valley" as the art for digital distribution to all digital stores except Bandcamp.

We believe this is an embarrasment to all outlets who find this art too explicit to be shown.'

---

Not surprised.

Ugh, that's ridiculous.

I'm glad Bandcamp isn't as narrow-minded as the other companies, because that's where I'm getting the album!
