80s style synth-pop/electro synth/cyberpunk music

new Droid Bishop <3

Did you guys hear his latest interview on Beyond Synth? It's a corker.

Also the promoter who runs a local monthly synth/retrowave/outrun night here in Melbourne recorded his closing set. If you guys like your darkwave, then have a go of it.

As for me, I'm looking for stuff similar to this :

I listen to it almost everyday at the gym and I'm still not bored.

Yep, since I stumbled upon this thread a few months ago I've discovered a ton of great stuff that I like, but this album is my favorite. There are great melodies in there and I'm always psyched when I listen to it.

How was Brut? I might be able to see them tomorrow in SF
It was AWESOME.

I ended up driving eight hours (round trip) for a forty minute concert tho.

I tried to stay for Ghost, but it wasn't my cup of tea and I really just wanted to hang out in my hotel room for a couple of hours.

Holy shit. Props to the dedication, hopefully it was worth it for you

Can't stand Ghost either, personally

Yeah, it was worth it. To be honest, the time alone and away was REALLY needed, even if it was basically one night.

I got my vinyl signed too, which was nice.

I'm kind of bummed about having to miss Le Matos next month, it's not going to be possible unless I quit my weekend job (which I'm not against, but I'm trying to keep it until the end of the year or my sanity snaps).

Thankfully, SURVIVE is actually in Dallas soon, so that one will be easy.

Has anyone seen Magic Sword live? I have the opportunity to see them on Friday but I'm not a huge fan of their output. It's fine and all, but I'm not crazy about it. On the other hand, these acts don't really come through my city so it sort of seems like a shame to miss it.

New GosT is so good

I liked Behemoth but this seems way more consistently good, also less cyberpunk and more horror soundtrack

EDIT: Can't say I'm digging these guest vocalist tracks though....maybe it'll grow on me

4th is real good though, damn

Lol the last song has the melodic run from Le Perv. Obviously only so much you can do with music, bound to have similarities, but stuck out to me instantly

People Brut was fuckin awesome the energy they kept through out the show and the expected moshpit that broke out during the show was awesome, made it feel like metal show , glad I went, and glad I got my shirt early since they didn't see to bring alot.
Also staring with a video of "hot night" from the OG GB was a a great intro video.
Oh and DWTD was great as well

Did Brut do that amazing cover of Maniac?

I keep hoping Portland/Seattle will get to see some good shows next year.
Dead Astronauts are based in Seattle so it would make sense for Perturbator or GosT to preform with them.
