Demons Souls was on the list, so that's def happening. I think that's next. Maybe some time early next year.

This old poll is way outdated as many of those games have already come out or will soon (Spidey 2).
But GT games seem the most logical, but for some reason they are very protective of this series going on PC. It would be a big seller too since PC gaming has lots of racing franchises and fans where GT can storm in and get sales.

Maybe the amount of competition in that space is what is what is holding Sony back from wanting to port? I do think your thought of being protective hold some weight for the likes of GT and DeSo, though I think the later might be Sony being respectful to From/Kadokawa. /tinfoil hat

Marathon is basically confirmed for Xbox and PC, as Bungie officially announced, after being bought by Sony, that their next game (which was not announced at that time) would be on Xbox and PC.

Never played in 3D. Its still one of my favorite games of all time. But a VR version would be even better for immersion than 3D.

I always thought R&C and DS werent ported due to being graphics showcases that helps promote PS5. But then R&C went PC, so I dont think thats true anymore.

I don't think R&C has ever really moved the needle, and not for lack of Sony trying, so it being ported really doesn't surprise me. What prestige titles have been ported and which haven't are sometimes confusing. I get the Marvel stuff, but not why you'd port the likes of UC (though I guess you could argue this series has concluded), GoW, and TLOU but not GT, DeSo, and BB. Maybe it's just a matter of time or maybe there is something else behind the scenes holding those back. The good news is that I can keep using my never meme for the constant port begging.

Its a 2D Plane game. All viewing it in that helmet is doing is projecting a giant display no different than looking at it on a 3D display.

I meant that they would need to remake it to work around vr. Like a sequel or remake.
If mario can transition from 2d to 3d so can puppeteer.

The lack of Demons Souls is just bizarre. Even soulslike games do great numbers on Steam. A real Souls game is just money on the table.

They are sort of starting to run out of games to port, other than Astro Bot and the ever-elusive GT7 and Demon's Souls ports nothing meaningful from the post-PS5/PS5 Remaster era is really missing after SM2/TLOU2 comes out. I imagine Stellar Blade (and Rise of the Ronin) would be self-published for the PC releases.

Well Astro Bot they even said if people want it on PC they need to shout for it not exactly closing the door.
But there are others that aren't on pc with no view to them coming.

The last two have yet to release on console, either, so not really surprising they haven't been announced or confirmed on PC.
Demon's Souls was actually one of the first mentioned in the notorious Geforce Experience leak of a couple of years ago.
Why Sony keeps delaying it over and over in favor of far less interesting stuff is still a mystery.
Bloodborne is the other big absent, but at this point this has basically ascended to meme status like Half-Life 3.
