If this rumour is true( once again, take any rumour with a grain of salt), we might get mile morales/lost legacy type game. Really hope this turns out to be true

Sounds good to me if true.
A 20-25 hour adventure without a bunch of padding, with GoW's awesome combat and some new locations.

Remaster the first two and call it a day. Sony is just really all in on side shit and mediaverse shit that the actual paying customer doesn't want. Goddamn big business and its corpo grasp on gaming. EDIT: Yes, we could actually end up with a classic gameplay side game and that would be great, but I am just really sour on modern game greed and stupidity in the industry so I take the salty and nihilistic approach to everything until proven otherwise.

I have personally liked the side games that Sony has made, from infamous first light (would rate it better than second son), uncharted lost legacy( not as good as uncharted 4 or 2, but still great) to miles morales( not as good as Spiderman 1 or 2 but still good).
They are, imo, pretty non greedy. A game that costs less than full releases and is shorter is an excellent idea. It allows devs to explore unique stories that are based on the concept but not central to it. It's like story expansions in old games but standalone and even more expanded.

Cool. I'm in the minority but I prefer the recent metroidvania GOWs with the RPG elements to the older more straight action games. I like cinematic games.
Getting more GOW, even if an Uncharted Lost Legacy style, would be pretty sweet. Also helps that Greek mythology and history is more interesting to me than Norse stuff.
