I just got out of watching the movie for the first time, loved it but holy shit... This. I was like wat.
Phasma should've had that weapon/fight. at least get a highlight. what a waste.
I don't see any problem with Phasmas screentime or her general actions. I mean, okay she should have been in the place of the trooper fighting lightsaber wielding Finn but I was totally okay with her just standing around looking cool. The real problem with Phasma is
that she did the most stupid thing in the entire movie and acted totally out of character by turning down the shield of the not-Death Star III without any kind of resistance. The only character more treacherous than her would be Anakin
First off does anyone know if Hot toys figures stay on sale for a long time. Or are these limited run releases.
I'm already getting the Hot Toys Phasma because it looks amazing. But damn i really want to get the Rey/BB8 and the Finn and Riot Trooper. Just so damn expensive.

I didn't get the appeal of Phasma, then again, I never saw any of the previews or promos for TFA.
I always figured it was the cape.
Cape and her being chrome did it for me, she looks cool. I'm still getting her figuarts but the Hot Toys is an easy pass.

Honestly, I reckon you're far better off just importing from CDJapan or NY. FP might be your best bet if their jacked up price matches NY's jacked up price (they jack up the price after initial sell out of popular figs e.g. Awakening Goku). In my experience, I tend to avoid customs with NY, and usually with CDJ, but with them it depends on order size.
And you're also waiting a month longer going by some of their dates, it seems.

I know, that's the joke. I've generally stayed clear of them, but I don't know if I'm going to be able to resist the Dark Phoenix they have coming.
dayam, all the Hot Toys OG Stormtroopers are sold out. That's gonna be worth a lot in the future. I'm on the fence about picking up ANH Luke. I already have Hot Toys ESB Luke. he's worth shitloads now but I prefer his face sculpt over ANH one. i wonder when RotJ Luke is made. Love that version of Luke the most.

i also have Diablo from Diablo III. he also has those pointy parts but they're well made with no issues. i haven't opened up Kerrigan yet cuz i need a spot for her. will report back and let you know if there's any damage. but i never got a PF that was damaged. knock on wood.

Some adds to the collection. Not figures but picked up these DC Icons statues at my local comic shop. The Joker was about $80 and the Green Lantern was actually discounted because the paint on the right side of his face is "freckled". Frankly, unless you look really hard you can't even see it and I ended up paying $35 for him. I couldn't say no:

Some Marvel Hot Toys are already pushing $400, I think your a little low on that one.
