Moderately hard so far. Nothing extreme.
I am getting the hang of it. At the 4th boss now. Second and third boss took me only 2 tries each. Hate you loose all upgrades after 3 god damn it my build was God like....

Now if you lose you'll start from 4th. But every consumable and stat augment you've encountered you're more than likely to find them now more easily, so don't worry!
Not likely... I had parasite and artefact with auto heal on low health. 200% health also health siphon with adrenaline stage 1 was already enough to get me to full health like it's nothing. Also astronaut artefact, artefact with 25% Chance not losing an item. Damage and protection augments.... I think like this I would have just ramboed through
people make the mistake this game being easy / impossible is extremely depending on the items used / unlocked / equiped.
I'm not someone who needs games to be really long, because it's really hard to find the time anymore. I'm still working my way through Yakuza Kiwami at this point, but I'm on the last chapter!!
11 hours is way too short for a $70 game though, for real.
4th boss I did on my 1st try. I guess bosses are really easier then the biomes themselves.. 3, 2, 2, 1 so far
Same goes for the last boss so 3, 2, 2, 1 and 1 the bosses are to easy I have to say. Zmthe biomes really get me....Nah, it just happens that the 4th one is the easiest and the most entertaining as well! Just never panic and keep cool-headed and you'll get through it! Don't lose focus on the surroundings as well, while don't forget to focus on him as well before you get slapped on the face.

this is not a 10 hour game for many lolGood to see a 10 hours game. I'm just sick of every game has to have over 30 hours of game.
It’s probably a ten hour game if you’re really skilled and properly learn the game, but I think for most others, it will go well beyond ten hours due to the difficulty, randomness at times and restarts.Good to see a 10 hours game. I'm just sick of every game has to have over 30 hours of game.
I would disagree on the unforgiving part,I feel that it really depend on how you built your run, but overall I feel like the game is more fair than Nioh or Sekiro.Got to the third biome. Really enjoying this game and having fun with even though I am finding it very challenging at times. As a matter of fact, I’m finding it harder or maybe I should say more unforgiving than Nioh, the Souls games and even the mighty Sekiro which is saying a lot. I finished all those games and I’m hoping I can finish Returnal. It’s very addictive and unique as well.

I think most of the times remaining calm and trying to be as conscious as possible to what is around you and you will do just fine (even though it might take a lot of time to clean a room).
What I think might trouble people is the abundance of colored bullets and lasers that might make you panic and do mistakes. But by remaining calm everything gets easier it helps you avoid dashing all the time(which often mean that it is on cooldown when you need it.
I found it easier and most important more fair than Nioh or Sekiro (althought the ennemies that shoot malfunctions at you can be considered unfair).
Ok Bo. If you can do this, I can do this.
I always did the golden gates at the end. Found the rewards worth it. Lately I got auto repairs or adrenaline augments also they normally had a lot of health scattered. My boss runs were always with all rooms cleared. When that worked out I was generally powerful enough to the one and done try easilyKeyword is: Patience. Enjoy the game, be 100% conscious, explore every room except the golden gate "unless you can gamble with enough health packs/figurines/etc". Go get em!
It does.Does anybody know, if I’ve activated the bridge on biome 3, does it remain active, or do I need to do it all again?
No way Bo_Hazem finished this in 11 hours. Even act 3??
Yesterday i unlocked the acid granade launcher and even at level one it literally melt enemies.
I have 9 weapons now, where do i find the last one?!
I was stuck on biome 3 and the 3rd boss for ages. Once I'd made the perfect build, and beat Nemesis (just!) I managed to run all the way to the end of the game in that one run. All other biomes and bosses were a walk in the park.I think if you want the whole story, it's a 15-20 hour game. But because of all the different weapons, upgrades, and unlocks it's more like 30-40 hour game. I was super frustrated in the beginning because i went in more with a dead space mentality instead of a rogue like mentality. Once I shifted, and watched people make builds it clicked. And once you get to crimson plains, you really get to see what this game is all about. And I seriously am like an addict at this point. Third Biome is a real ass kicker, but if you go through first biome get a decent level 3 weapon, get a couple buffs, maybe a decent parasite and go into crimson plains you will level up like crazy. Once I got to the mountain and did the bonus door(star) which by that time I was OP, i got a fucking nutts weapon and a couple extra items to give me syphon perks. Then I made my way to Biome 3, and shredded everybody, and beat the boss on the first try. Those buffs for getting health from your enemies and a buff for evading/having low health helped me so much.
Now im on Biome 4 and it feels weak, lol. Almost beat the 4th boss on first go, only reason I didn't was I had low health when I went in.
Now Im ready to dive in and kick this games ass. Never been this energetic on a game since Dead space 2, God of war.

I can't emphasise enough how important farming for that perfect build is if you want to stand a chance in this game. If you get to biome 3 and aren't feeling your build, it might be worth just starting a new run.
Seems like spoilers for someone who’s 14 hours in and still on biome 1Seems like a loose end for a potential sequel.
