The flight plan I just filed with the agency list me, my men, Dr. Pavel here. But only one of you!
Ward is going to do something next season to somehow save Fitz and/or restore is health/mind, and that will be his big redemption moment.

COUNT ON IT.

You guys, what about all those innocent CyberTek guards our so called heroes gunned down?

Were they all Hydra? Maybe some of them were also coerced into being there.

The poor sweet guards in the underground lab were simply Coulson's Sudetenland.

This show is really fucking weird about death they go out of their way to develop the icers and save a clearly dangerous Mike Peterson in the first episode. But like in the Garret death scene Coulson ignores the tech Garret just killed and makes a joke as he walks out. They reallly need to be more consistent about this.

Why are you reading my tag instead of the title of my post?
Not when they were shooting rockets at them.
Wake up sheeple!
Heavy concussions, several fractures, and multiple collapsed organs doesn't necessarily mean death =D

Oh my god, it'll probably be at the same time when Simmons blows her HYDRA cover. He'll swoop in and save the team and we'll do the "Who can you trust? The person who tried to kill you before or the person trying to kill you now?". It'll be just great.

It's almost like they were using the icers on the people in the tech department because they knew about the hostages or something.

I'm hoping it's a shorter season too, so they can get straight to the stuff everyone wants.

Alternatively, if they want to do the standard 22, I hope they split it into two arcs, and have Agent Carter in the middle. Ala...

11 SHIELD > 13/8 Agent Carter > 11 SHIELD

Guess what? They already announced the schedule, and that's pretty much what they're doing. Agent Carter is filling in for SHIELD during the midseason break.

Please spoil me, did we got something regarding all these Skye = Spider-Woman theories?

No. They continue to tease Skye's origin into next season. But the Jessica Drew stuff seems very unlikely at this point.

It's almost like they were using the icers on the people in the tech department because they knew about the hostages or something.

Well, it was probably because they were just office workers and not soldiers trying to kill them. Though yeah, they seemed to know about the "incentives program."

Arrow is still the better show as much as AoS has improved though. The dialogue while it is bad at times was still better then on here. Both shows are great though.

I disagree. While I enjoy both shows they have different strengths and weaknesses. I personally rank them about equal overall. AoS has higher highs in every area except pure action, Arrow is more consistent throughout it's run, AoS has a better *original* plot, Arrow has a cooler and larger catalog of characters in use, etc.. etc..

Skye's trojan horse had been compiling info across their networks for awhile. They knew all about the installation.

Fitz and Simmons are gonna get married and live happily ever after and actually both change their last name to Fitzsimmons.

This Arrow vs AoS shit is worse then X1 vs PS4.

Both are great. Also, the "explosion" part in the finale still has me chuckling.

They really, really need to invest in better sets.

They fixed the action by the end (nothing Power Rangers about power tools in a fight scene) but everything just looked cheap or a random SoCal office towards the end.

Is it even a legit comparison? Wouldnt be a comparision between Arrow and one of the upcoming Netflix shows a better shows a better fit?

That still wouldn't be a good comparison as Arrow has to worry about Network censors while Netflix shows have less restrictions in that regard. But yes, the two shows can't be compared directly since AoS being part of the MCU gives them more restrictions while Arrow being standalone (at least until The Flash hits the air) gives them more room to use bigger characters and less restrictions on plot.

Yeah, I'd say the box at the bottom of the ocean was a better looking set.

Well we'll just have to disagree then. Arrow hit the ground running and pacing is really fast and everything was enjoyable from the start. AoS got off to a slow start but picked up around the Mid Season finale and start putting up Arrow quality episodes after TWS came out. Both are great shows now and hope that AoS continues this success next season though.

I just realized, with SHIELD needing to rebuild/recruit - we might get May's Mom on base! :D

Please, please, make it so Showrunners.

Wow. I got legitimate feels when Simmons started crying. The actress sold that scene

Yeah, the Fitz/Simmons scene broke me, especially as it dawned on Simmons that a) Fitz is in love with her, b) she doesn't feel the same way, and c) he's about to sacrifice himself to save her - all processed within about 10 seconds.

That said, I think
Fitz is going to become MODOK. It's why Oswalt couldn't get the role, and it makes the entire Simmons/AIM theories even more ironic.

So when asked where he was going did Nick Fury say no where or Knowhere?
You're remembering that scene wrong. It goes something like this:
Coulson:Nowhere to be found, right?
Fury:You know me better than that Coulson. I'm everywhere.

Fury never says that word.

I really don't like the idea of fitz becoming MODOK. After the Ward turn, I really think they should stick with some good guy stability for a bit. A constant threat of "WHICH MAIN CHARACTER WILL GO BAD NEXT" can very quickly turn from exciting to exhausting/irritating.

Also, I just realized that Fitz didn't actually go comatose from drowning. He got friendzoned so hard his body started to shut down.

Fitz is totally going to fall into the wrong hands. :( (They sort of foreshadowed that earlier in the season when Garrett was about to execute him.)

That was disappointing. The confrontation between Garrett and Coulson just wasn't worthwile, Fury looked like Samuel L. Jackson just walked in from the streets for contractual obligations, Ward should have killed May and left with Raina, the good Deathlock getting killed whn he rose... I like the reveal of The Playfround and the Fitz-Simmons scenes although I dislike they didn't show him again.

A lot of Whedon in that finale with Garret's death scene being the obvious best.

Fitz and Simmons stuff was probably my favourite in the episode. Questioning life, great character interaction and fantastic performances. More of this in season 2.

Loved seeing Nick, even though the show's "wink at the camera, we're part of the MCU!!!" was annoyingly in effect throughout. Coulson's revenge was awesome.

Disappointed we didn't get full answers on several things, though and was expecting a genuine universe gamechanging episode.

It's funny but I'm a bit sad at Garret's Whedonesque execution because for a little bit there, I thought they were going to turn him into an outright evil version of the High Evolutionary. Then he'd go around meddling with people who had the evolutionary potential to become a "miracle". He seemed to be gaining the ability to see stuff like evolution, biology, cosmic patterns. Plus the Evolutionary also has a cybernetic exoskeleton.

On the other hand, for what's worth, according to wikipedia the High Evolutionary once put himself back together after being beaten into goo by the Hulk...

He looked exactly like he did when he went "off the grid" at the end of Captain America: The Winter Soldier.
