Maleev on Iron Man could be gorgeous... I wonder what will set it apart from Invincible Iron Man since Bendis is in charge of both. I assume Tony is Iron Man in both?

Cloonan is a weird choice for Punisher. Far, FAR removed from Edmondson.

Hmm, I wonder if it's his brother...

In the comics thread, they seem to be interpreting Cloonan as a good choice.

Guys, I just realized this means we're going to get Friday twice a month! ^_^/

The number of books Marvel is going to put out next year is pure insanity. The announcements just don't seem to stop.

A lot of it is just them trying to see what sticks. You can make some good guesses about the ones that'll probably only last 6-12 issues.

Well yeah, it's pretty much a given nowadays that a lot of Marvel titles will only get 10-12 issues max but even if that's the case then we're still gonna have months where the number of published titles is huge.

The only Marvel comic I still follow regularly is Ms. Marcel, but all of these look great. Glad to see Nico Minoru and America Chavez on some superteams. Runaways and Young Avengers volume 2 are 2 of my favorite series ever.

Also, who is in the Ultimates Lineup? I only recognize Captain Marvel, Miss America, and Black Panther.

Okay, I just want to be sure of what I'm supposed to be reading.
Pre-Secret Wars I read Ultimate Spider-man, Ant-man and Ms. Marvel as well as Superior Spider-man / Spider-Verse which I thought was alright. I didn't really like the Amazing series just before and after Superior.

So, what should I read now? Just the new Ant-man and whenever "Spider-Miles" and Ms. Marvel come out?
Is there anything important I should read beforehand (I ducked out of Secret Wars after like a month)?

That looks about right to me - the new Miles book will just be "Spider-Man," by the way, sans adjective. We're all being dropped on the ground floor without any explanation, so no prior reading to speak of.

You might also want to look at All-New, All-Different Avengers, since Ms. Marvel and Miles will be members there, and I figure there's high crossover potential between it and their main titles. But that's your call.

So in all this mess, I haven't really caught up with the Marvel titles. What's worth reading?

I was reading...

Punisher, Black Widow, Ant-Man, Ms Marvel, Moon Knight, and Spider-Woman

Well I mean all of those are still happening. Except Moon Knight which is now replaced with Karnak.

The new Ant-Man came out Wednesday. It's the same creative team as the last Ant-Man book. If you liked that you'll definitely like this.

The only issue with jumping into Karnak is that Warren Ellis is writing it, which means we might get 4 issues before he gets bored and someone far less talented takes over.

Ask yourself: do you prefer 4-6 issues of god tier Ellis followed by crap, or crap from the start?

So what's the difference between International and Invincible Iron Man?

Also, wow, Hyperion and Nighthawk getting books? Why?

Hyperion's book sounds like a ripoff of JMS Superman

International is going to be about Tony learning more about his parents and his past.

5 issues is about as long as a Gambit ongoing would last.

Last one made it to 17, which is respectable.

Question about Tony Stark's new armor:
Why would he ever go about without his armor if it has been shown to go invisible only showing him and what he is wearing underneath it?

I mean, clearly you read #2. You don't think that'd still be weird on a date or at a party?

There's nothing you're "supposed" to be reading. Just pick up whatever interests you or see what new releases Comics-GAF recommends on a given week and go from there.
