I own most of those games. I’m really hoping to get Metal Gear 4, Warhawk, Motorstorm 1 some how down the line. It’s really hard to play these games now.
Aren’t the Warhawk servers offline now?

Current PS+ Trial Games available:

- Horizon Forbidden West
- CP2077
- Farming Simulator 22
- Tiny Tina's Wonderland
- WWE 2K22
Demon's souls is on thereI'm surprised Miles Morales is on there honestly. They don't even really do sales for PS5 first party games that much. I guess we'll see how long until something like Horizon 2 is on there, or Demon's Souls, or Ratchet.
Well, to be fair Microsoft offers their first party output at launch, which aren't usually consider to be the top tier of the gaming industry, unlike Sony's. So yes, some might consider getting Sony games a year after release of more value than getting Microsoft's games day and date.
That's a stretch considering Game Pass offers brand new releases as part of their offering whereas Sony's premium service doesnt, outside of time limited trials.
Not sure. Haven’t been able to play it in years because I don’t have the ps3 hooked up. Most likely, and that sucks it would be great to play again.Aren’t the Warhawk servers offline now?
Isn't it just the PS3 one? If the PS5 one is on there, that's very nice.Demon's souls is on there

That was always very unrealistic. Sony isn't stupid enough to force publishers to do this. It would be a huge mistake. That's it ?
I thought this was gonna be a universal thing.

I can't open half the links you guys post at work, or see twitter. It's literally in the trailer and says PS5 in the press release. ALso Ghosts of tsushima directors cut and miles morales are also part of that service. Along with Returnal. Quality wise thats insane.
alright nice one thanksThey "SONY" clarified it will start to work again after new services roll out.
In terms of the tiers, and the games being added quality wise, I say it's doing different things. This is not a gamepass competitor, it's more like what Nintendo was doing. Only on a larger scale, and first party's once they hit a specific sales target go into the service it looks like. Which is what Sony was doing with PS+ titles for a while now. Some first some third party published.
But literally in terms of quality games on their service? Ghosts, Demons souls, Miles morales, returnal all being on this service to me shits on the past 2 years of Gamepass. Quality over quantity.
But again this to me is not a 1:1 comparison. If it was the base tier would not exist and you would have had essentials offer everything premium does without online. Gamepass has two tiers regular and Ultimate. Regular gamepass does not give you xbox live. Ultimate does.
Which you need to play online.
Playstation literally changed nothing for those already subbed to PS+. So you lose nothing and can upgrade to higher tier if you want.
Xbox literally took away options to just be on xbox live, they want you on gamepass.
This is just a optional service that if you go up a tier you get more for it.
I guess it rewards the patient. If it's just a year delay, I'd be tempted to wait on almost all of it and sub. Even just subbing 3 months out of the year you could play all the first party stuff. I guess we'll see what happens. I've skipped multiple PS5 games because I thought they were too expensive.I still don't see who this serves when the offering of games has a 12 month lag behind launch. When God of War 2 eventually launches it's not going to be available on this service at launch, maybe a year later. So it serves the customers who want to wait a year to get it as part of their sub?
Gamepass just makes instant sense to me, buy sub, get back catalogue and new games. This Premium service is, buy sub, get old games if you didn't want to buy them when they launched a year ago....
At this rate, GOW2 will be on PS+ before Starfield is released lolI still don't see who this serves when the offering of games has a 12 month lag behind launch. ‘better value’ can be perceived in many ways. £80 vs £130.That's a stretch considering Game Pass offers brand new releases as part of their offering whereas Sony's premium service doesnt, outside of time limited trials.
By the time I get my PS5 revision or PS5 Pro, I'll have a bunch of games to play on PS+ Extra. Good offer.‘better value’ can be perceived in many ways. £80 vs £130.
Last year my Game Pass sub let me play Psychonauts 2 and Forza. If I sub to Plus I can play Returnal and DeS. All amazing games.
If Sony add Sackboy and Ratchet within the next 12 months and don’t remove their older games from the service then it’s clear to me that this sub (extra in particular) is going to be a good time.

Yeah, pretty crazy that PS5 first party games are coming on tier 2. Didn't expect that.‘better value’ can be perceived in many ways. £80 vs £130.

And if we zoom in on the PS+ Extra lineup…‘better value’ can be perceived in many ways. £80 vs £130.

That’s fine too. For someone like you this isn’t going to be good value. If I were a brand new PS5 customer, it's pretty good value, buy the console, take up the sub and play the first 2 years of notable PS5 games. However as a launch customer who's had the privilege of playing those games already I cannot perceive in current or future value in upping my sub when I purchase the games I want to play either at launch or within a few months at the latest.
I have Demon's Souls, but I'd happily upgrade for a month to play Ratchet and Sackboy. The flexibility is interesting. Taking me a bit to wrap my head around their approach, but I think I'll be dipping my toe in within the next months off and on.That’s fine too. For someone like you this isn’t going to be good value.
I’ve had a PS5 since last year but Horizon FW, GoT DC and Elden Ring have been my only PS5 purchases.
There’s been many games that have looked good to me, but not worth the current asking price. Returnal, Ratchet, Sackboy and DeS. £80 for access to all of them would be great for me personally.
I don't know how much they can really one up it until the Activision deal. But at the very least this keeps pressure on Gamepass to keep their price low, and keep offering the best they can. Win / Win for everyone really. This is good , competition is good, this is not some b lvl competition to gamepass and me as an xbox guy likes this ,I'm pretty sure xbox will 1 up this next month
I wonder if the classics will be available for purchase outside Plus?
Some of the titles will also be available for individual purchase.
That's a fantastic catalogue there. Been wanting to play Spider Man, but been waiting on a sale, so this works out perfectly.
Did the Uncharted games get any kind of PS5 patch? Increased frame rate for 4 is specifically what I'd like, don't know if that happened and was just curious.
I guess we'll see how long until something like Horizon 2 is on there, or Demon's Souls, or Ratchet.
All-new PlayStation Plus game lineup: Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Demon’s Souls, Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut, NBA 2K22, and more join the service
It’s a great way to try games before you decide to buy, and any trophies and game save data from the trial period will carry-forward if you purchase the game. Here are some of the titles that will be part of the time-limited game trials.
Absolutely surprised by this. Good for the consumer.Players who have purchased classic games in the past won't have to sign up for ps plus or the collection to get them. Huge win!
I said it when they announced the new tiers but I still think it’s true; adding all of Destiny’s expansions day 1 would be a great way of attracting and retaining subscribers.I don't know how much they can really one up it until the Activision deal.
