If you scroll down to system requirements, they list whether steam is required or not. They usually go out of their way to mention it.
If you had bothered to read the Secret World thread, then you would know. Yes, the Amazon key works for European accounts.
Yeah, but Steam keys are not always region-free.

Is Amazon not selling Mass Effect 3 outside of the trilogy? What about Gamefly? I don't want arguments against playing it; it's something I must do.
It is $12 on Gamefly right now and there is a 10% off code floating around, HOLIDAY10 or some such thing.
Edit: I guess I should also add it will be an Amazon Editor's Choice in January so if you have one of the $5 promo credits you could roll the dice and hope for a better deal with the credit.
