Another fantastic episode. I like how Sister Jude is starting to question things. Her scene with Kip at the end was great.

Even though what happened to Shelly was messed up, I thought it was actually pretty tame for this show. He threw acid on her face? So what? Like, I expected her ears to have switched places with her lips and her nose to be been sewn shut or something. lol
I was also sort of surprised that we didn't get any scenes set in the present day with Adam Levine's character. (who is possibly dead)

Wow, this was amazing again. That aversion therapy scene was horrifically brutal and the Anne Frank thing was just the right amount of batshit crazy that we've come to expect from AHS.

Chris Zylka was meant to play Daniel in this episode. This is the guy that is used for Lana's "therapy" by Dr. Thredson.
He reportedly rejected the role because it required him to shave his head. He was originally to be a recurring guest character with more story, however following his departure they reduced the role to what I assume will be this one-off appearance.

What a mutation she's turning into. I've been really digging this season so far. So many different storylines but I feel like it's a good balance. I feel like we're due for some sister Eunice craziness soon.
I thought the actor they cast as a young Arden was perfect. He looked exactly like I would imagine a younger Arden would look.

I was wondering about this. Maybe some kind of classic monster story? Vampires? Werewolves? I'd imagine that they're not looking to reuse concepts between series, so I'm not anticipating another haunted house story or anything like that.
Maybe they go in a more Lovecraftian direction? That would be awesome. A season long of something like "In the Mouth of Madness!"

Mmm, speaking of Lovecraft, I had a fantastic Lovecraftian nightmare the last time I slept that involved war, natural disasters and people submitting to severe paranoia.
Obviously non of that seemed typically Lovecraft, but it was and made perfect sense in my nightmare.

While it's too early to count our chickens, I believe the shifting focus from family-oriented story (I couldn't stand the whole husband/wife and tate/violet drama of the 1st season) to crazy psychopaths increased the amount of entertainment value in the season.

Just caught up on the episode. Pretty awesome. Franka is awesome as Anne Franke... loved that she seemed to be the first person to get one over on Arden (asides from the prostitute). Man, she should have blown out his other knee cap and let him crawl around like one of his creations.
I figured Kit and Grace would get together, but not this soon. Also, I figured Grace really did kill her family, but do you guys think Grace is using him now? It breaks my heart man, but I think she's twisting him around. She doesn't care if he's innocent or guilty.
The scene with Threadsen and Lana and the long-haired naked guy might actually have been one of the most disturbing ones in this show so far. There's just so much... wrong there. Anyone getting the vibe that Threadsen might be BloodyFaces? I mean, he has reason to believe that Wendy was killed by BloodyFaces, but has he gone to the cops? He thinks Kit might be innocent... but in this episode he's trying to convince him that he is crazy and to confess. Why is he trying so hard to rescue Lana but leaving Kit like this?
I like that Jude is starting to put the pieces together... but I've got a bad feeling that by the end of the season she'll be in a straitjacket herself
