Really hope they keep it rolling like the end of season one and just end on a completely bleak note with hints of an even bleaker future.

It's interesting to see that the aliens aren't just abducting people into their flying saucers, like I had assumed. They're actually creeping about in buildings and stuff. I wonder what they're up to?

Hmmm...so the manimals aren't quite manimals after all. They're just mutated humans. I was hoping for a little fur at least. Maybe some fangs or a tail. I'm disappointed. :/
Btw, I'm pretty sure I saw Adam Levine's hand lying on the floor of the room that the girl in the present day ran into to hide from Bloody Face. But the room was empty, so there must be a secret passage or something. Or maybe it was an alien and he teleported away!

Hilariously awesome episode. This show is amazing. Arden putting lipstick on the statue, the amputation, the neck stab, Sister Jude hitting the sauce, pretty much every scene with the possessed Sister Mary Eunice.
I wondered if they'd be able to top last season and they already have.

Man, that scene with Sister Eunice stabbing that one patient was brutal. That woman is pure evil now. Felt bad for Shelly getting her legs amputated. :/ And another week were Kit and Grace were so close to true freedom only to end up back in the asylum.
So the things in the forest are "Wrong Turn"style mutated people, huh? They look pretty twisted. And there's an alien roaming the halls too? This show is so insane this season but I'm loving it.

I thought that was the original room where Adam's arm got ripped off by Bloody Face? I.e, the girl somehow made a circle, and ended up back there.

This is the sequence of events:
- Adam Levine's arm gets ripped off by something in the cell that smelled putrid in the past
- Wife goes back down hallway leading out to get her phone out of the car
- Wife runs into (fake) Bloody Face (A)
- Wife tries to pull Adam away but can't so she goes into the original cell
- Bloody Face (A) stabs Adam, gets into cell
- Adam overpowers Bloody Face (A)
- Wife grabs phone (lying next to arm) and calls 911
- Wife and Adam are shot by (fake) Bloody Face (B)
- (fake) Bloody Face (C) and B fight
- (real) Bloody Face comes down the hallway leading out

Yep. Sister Jude, in my opinion, is not pure evil, just really fucked because of her past. But Arden on the other hand...
Also, I think they went a little crazy with the sound this week. I previously mentioned liking that one noise that plays when something weird happens, but they used it in basically every scene (sometimes multiple times) and it got annoying.
Also, I think this episode as a whole was not near as strong as last week's. I'm not sure I like possessed Lily Rabe, and I'm more confused as ever as to how this season is going to go. I kind of wish Sister Eunice played a bit more innocently. I liked the scene last episode where she was slyly teasing Arden. I wish that had played a bit more and she didn't come off so incredibly strong just yet. It is interesting because it puts Jude against Arden even more so, but it's kind of ridiculous that Jude suspects everyone knows about her except for Sister Eunice. I understand she thinks she's really innocent, but she was acting completely crazy and Jude immediately suspected Arden? It didn't quite make sense to me.

Jude sees Arden as a threat to her power, she's been suspicious of him since the first episode.. and in the second, when the possessed boy mentioned her hit and run fifteen years earlier, it must have made her incredibly paranoid (that coupled with drinking for the first time since the accident) it doesn't really seem like too much of a stretch, at least, not compared with a lot of the stuff in the first season.

You guys, the first season of this show was fantastic but this season has been next level shit since minute one. I can't believe it's only three episodes in. It hasn't slowed down for a second and they're cramming so much holyshitwtfomglol into every episode I feel like this season has already been as gratuitously satisfying as the entirety of last season.
I don't find this shit scary, and lord help you if you do, but it might be the most entertaining show on television.

Maybe he's not dead yet. Anyone considering the possibility that his character + wife's death is just a low-budget horror movie shot in that institution? What I mean is that they + the 3 fake Bloodyfaces are just actors playing their roles (victims + killers)? Maybe that's why the tacky "oooh, we have 3 Bloodyface imitators now".
Isn't the classic horror/fear of being in an asylum? That you're the sane one and everyone else (including the warden) is crazy/thinks you're the crazy one? It's almost literally

I liked this episode (Nor'easter) however thus far it is the weakest one, I feel. But it builds a few plot points up.
Poor Shelley though, I really like her for some reason. She doesn't seem like she really belongs there (also I found it hilarious when she was laughing at Arden - I wonder what's wrong with him?).
The possession has lead to some more interesting scenes with Rabe I think, that murder scene of the mexican was fucking BRUTAL. The scene where she tried to seduce Arden was also pretty LOL.
What was the, umm, point of the whole statue thing with Arden? I was a bit confused.
Also - did we see the Alien? I might try to record a re watch and see if I can grab some caps.

Maybe Arden was in a sour mood given Sister Eunice's change in character, so he felt inclined to give Shelly what he thought she wanted.
