American Horror Story: Hotel |OT| Uh oh! There was a monster in my bed!

I completely hated Stephanie (not callin' her Gaga) at first but she's knocking it out of the park right now.
She's got some solid acting chops when she's trying for it.

And Kathy Bates is the highlight, as always.

Gaga delivers her lines so horribly. I'm still watching this but it hasn't gone anywhere in four hours. Entertaining though.
Shhh... careful... a certain somebody might hear you complain!

Opinions and all lol. I do like Kathy Bates though. And the maid is hilarious.

oh remind me not to read B-Dex posts
I thought we were all on the same page

Canada stays winning. Empire an hour earlier than the US and now AHS 30 mins early.

Also it only ran for 90 minutes. I guess the US gets an extra 30 minutes of ads.

You think all the teenage girls who watch this have to have like, really awkward conversations with their parents every time something like that picture of the guy with the bloodied ass pops up?

Someone needs to gif Gaga shutting Kathy Bates out.

Also just realized Bommer wanted to Netflix and Chill. Lol
Stay in and watch house of cards.

I don't care if you complain. My question is, when your hate for this show has reached ridiculous, hyperbolic levels to a point where you don't get it, feel alone, and are calling it a completely nonsensical boring piece of shit, what's the point in sticking around? Call me crazy, but I'd stop watching.

Because I'm a fan of horror, the Halloween season, the majority of the cast and more importantly, the show.

I absolutely despised every second of Season 2 of TWD but I still stuck with it because I love the series.

And I was just having a laugh, I hope that didn't anger you at all!

I think this show is giving me a blood fetish. Good thing it's halloween and you can buy gallons of fake blood without people looking at you weird

This show makes no sense to me. I feel like I need to be in a lecture class on it to understand what exactly is happening. Like what was the anti-vaxxer stuff about, who were those people? That felt like part of a different show all together.

Show feels like a bunch of random scenes strung together but have very little or nothing to do with each other.

Thoroughly enjoyed that episode. Even peters character is straight evil, which is a nice change of pace from his previous roles.

The scene was meant to convey the mothers love for her children.

This is some fucked up shit, yo...

(and also about 30 minutes too long but at least they packed in backstory and new character introductions. I'm happy to see that Evan Peters isn't playing the same character again)

I have to say that I liked this episode a lot more than the previous one. Delving a bit into the history lessons helped a bit. Now I'm a bit intrigued, but I know that it's unlikely to deliver in the long run. :p

I think the US got like 50 minutes of ads. :/

That was one of the most disgusting things I've ever watched..
Which part?

Nah, I'm done. The show is getting too violent for my liking, and the writing is abysmal. I somehow stomached my way through Freak Show, but this is basically torture porn.
I thought the first episode was pure gratuitous violence, since everything was random and fast paced. Like the pop of sex and violence. I thought everything felt better and more purposeful this episode, still pop, but more structured.

Jesus Gaga, if you are going to make a bunch of children immortal at least buy 'em a PC gaming.

Speaking of Gaga, she really can't act for shit.

That line was so horribly delivered though. When I saw it I actually thought to myself "People are going to make gifs of this on tumblr even though it was awful"

Lady Gaga is killing it. I love everything about her character and performance. So stylish and elegant.

This episode was full of hunks. Between her and them I found a lot to like.

So far this season is a bit like Coven: it's carried by distinctive characters that I liked immediately. Hotel seems to have an even more diverse menagerie than S3, and the setting is atmospheric and absorbing where Coven's was kind of just a bland backdrop. I'm loving this season so far. It's got everything I enjoy about AHS, along with some welcome surprises.

Finished the second episode and I am impressed much more.

Gaga feels much more natural this episode and does her character really well. There's nobody else that can play this character like she does because it really suits her. I almost appreciate Lange not being in this season since she'd usually object to this dark material and it gives them a chance to write some darker themed stories.

Really love Matt Bomers character too. His acting is fantastic - not even by verbal standards but not verbal too. The way he walks and moves really sells Donovan.

The fashion centric characters need some more development, they just feel like they're there right now.

The standout this episode, for me, was Evan Peters. It's so great to see him playing someone who is actually different to his previous characters and actually useful. I love the Andrew Ryan-esque approach. And I love his maid.

Wondering what's up with Liz Taylor too but I'm sure we'll find out as time goes by.
