Here we go again. Jaime almost had that one.
They are looking good. Kinda not happy we have to play them THREE FUCKING TIMES for the remainder of our games.Kinda fun having some legitimately fast players on the Quakes again. Long ball was getting a little dull.
There are some weird scheduling quirks this year. The Quakes have 10 of their last 15 games on the road.Good job San Jose! That was the best result I could have asked for. Seriously though, we have 3 games against you? 3 games. Really? Wow. Good job MLS schedulers.
Holden wasn't that bad to listen to and you know the ladies like to look at him during half-time. Donovan's fucked!
Good to see Gyau continuing to play with some confidence.Gyau had scored two goals in BVB II's match. There should be some more Americans playing with the Championship and Eredivisie starting up again.
Do not be stunned or overly dismayed if news of American accomplishments in club ball overseas is slow to flow this season. As you can see, at the moment, various injuries (and the resulting recovery periods) have us one keeper away from a rather workable European-based USMNT program line-up with scary attack subs.
Jozy Altidore - expected to make preseason debut this weekend

Aron Jóhannsson - expected out another 2-3 weeks
Fabian Johnson - made preseason debut this week
Eric Lichaj - made preseason debut this week, on bench today
Marc Pelosi - cameo return last season, 15 friendly minutes this week

To boot, Juan Agudelo is for the time being without a club and Will Packwood is not in the Birmingham selection today after just returning from US Under-23 camp.
.Sciaretta said:Big news today for Americans Abroad as US U20 mid Emerson Hyndman starts for Fulham in season opener. An American at Fulham - all is right
At least Gilberto is inching his way to 30 goalsWell there is the weekly ref screwjob. Good to see MLS teaching the rookie ref the proper way to call phantom hand balls.

EJ is such an idiot.
Can the boys finally win in Bridgeview today?
I want a BWP brace, beating JPA's record with 11 games to go
You sir, are in for a treat.
Sorry, it's going to be a scoreless draw

The Blue Ones trailed by two until the 56th minute, when New York City FC loan item Jacobson wiggled into the area to find Stephens, who danced by a defender before picking the top corner to open his club account.
Jacobson was at it again a minute from time, knocking down a cutback for Franck Boli to net the equalizer. A California native, Jacobson became the first American to notch two assists in a Tippeligaen match since Mikkel Diskerud pulled that trick for Stabæk just shy of four years ago.
Heh. Gotta love Bradley taking him to task.
