Is there a Line group for Wave 4? I am part fo the Wave 1,2,3 group but all I have seen is an update for Toon Link on Feb 18th. Am I missing something? Has that been the only alert?

There are currently 4 LINE groups.
1. Chatting
2. Wave 1, 2, 3 alerts
3. Wave 4 pre-orders for the US
4. International alerts for orders that require a forwarding service.
So, the 100 slots thing is only for chatting? How do I go about joining the Wave 4 alerts thing?

If you scroll up on Alerts-Wave 1,2,3 it will show the link for Alerts wave 4 and International.

Should hopefully (and finally) get Ike and DeDeDe on Wednesday. And I put five down on each so it won't be much out of pocket. I have to say, overall, my local Gamestop has been pretty cool so far. Though I somehow didn't get the initial memo that Sonic had come in. The GS dude called me later and said that they would hold it through the weekend. Apparently there was "interest" in it, but I told him my intentions to pick up the next day, and everything was pretty much fancy free from there on out. We chatted for a minute. The one guy told me how they had initially heard that they were getting the Gold Mario amiibo, but that it had been reneged on. Take that for what it's worth. I have no capacity for anything outside the Smash line at this point. Let's get this done with.
So there is no 100-person limit for the alerts? I need to sign up for this if there is indeed no limit. I don't need the chat--just the alerts. I am not sure what to do, so if there is a link or something I'd love to have it. I have a PM ready to send to CH4OS but I'm not sure if this is the correct route. I heard nothing. I got there because NA is selling more, meaning they are either A) Going to create a bigger supply print or B) going to allocate less to other regions or C) Both.
I mostly was talking about everyone in NA getting one, which is why there's no preorders. They're still trying to figure out how many they can get over here. The dock strike being over sure helps the supply chain a lot.

No one has DDD's neither?
So, fiance and I ended up with an extra NA DDD and NA Ike. We ended up importing because we thought these were going to fall through, so we don't need them. If anyone wants either of them, we'll sell for $25 each (which is pretty much cost+shipping since they were like $20 alone shipped to us and they came in 2 different shipments lol) to US. PM me if you're interested!

you guys getting your ikes from gamestop instore or online order? i got my ddd and megaman on friday from them but not ike. they told me he comes out Wednesday(they said the same for DDD but i got him friday)

The Amiibo is like a Pokemon, you can´t control it, but you can train it, feed it, fight with or against it or make it fight against other Amiibo.

Not at all.
They have a different use in several games, but in Smash they are bots that level up and learn new behavior to adapt to you. They become really challenging sparring partners.

Smash - You can personally train those Amiibo (computers) and the would learn from you and reach to level 50 so y'all can fight against your own computer from Amiibo.
Mario Kart 8 - (Peach, Link/Toon Link, Kirby, Star Fox, Mario, Luigi, Captain Falcon, Donkey Kong) You would unlock Mii's uniforms.

Looks like Gamestop screwed me out of a pre-ordered, pre-paid Shulk.
Ordered the day it went up, pre-paid for in-store pick up, and just waited. I hadn't checked the 'Gaf thread in a few weeks, been busy with work, and decided to check in over the weekend. I noticed people were saying they got their Shulk, so I called Gamestop. They said they called me 5 times over 5 days last week (once a day Monday-Friday), at my work number where there's always someone who can answer if it's not me (which it usually is), and no one answered and no voice mail picked up, which is buuuuuuuuullshit. The person there also said they saw I had a 2nd account (for some reason, Shulk got put on some other account with my work number instead of my cell number), and that's why they kept it on hold for more than 48 hours and tried to keep calling me. While I was there, I had the guy call the number, and shock of shocks, it worked fine. They tried to get one for me over the weekend from some other stores that might have one on hold, but no no avail.
No attempt to call my 2nd number, not once did they say anything about refunding my pre-payment until I asked about it, not one attempt to compensate me for anything.
I also found out the entire staff of the store had been let go some time last week ago and replaced this last week. A while ago, some might remember me mentioning that a manager there had a "side-job" selling rare amiibo. Seems like they got away with one figure before they left.
I'm beyond pissed.

incase you didnt realize, they messed with you (which i am sure you did). If you FULLY PAY for your preorder, policy states they have the hold your item no matter how long it takes for you to pick it up. If you just put the minimum amount, they only do 48 hours. Thats what the ASM out here told me.
So basically they fucked you and possibly others. sorry to hear that.

Got a call from Gamestop today, they had my Ike and DeDeDe pre-orders so I got and picked them up. I was a little worried I was going to end up with a derpy Ike, but he actually looks really good so I'm pleased. On the other hand, my DeDeDe's box was bent and messed up which sucks and is unfortunate, but he wasn't one of the ones I was planning on keeping sealed anyway so it turned out okay.

GS f'ed me a couple years back. I preordered the $80 or so limited edition Gears of War game. I went out of the country and when it was released, when I came back to pick up a couple weeks later they said their system showed I picked it up. I showed my receipt, they kept it and said they would check the cameras, got my phone number, and I never heard from them again. Why the hell would I be willing to give my receipt and ask them to check the footage if I was lying? Did I need to prove I was out of the country by showing my passport stamps? Jeez.

Cool called my store and they got my ike and are still holding my Toon Link, Sheik, and Shulk. Hopefully they stay out for one more week so I can get them. Though if all else fails I really just need Shulk to remain unsold.
