It doesn't matter to him. He can just cancel the transactions and get out. It is one of the reasons why scalping for cash is such a shitbag move, there is no risk at all since you can just return items or cancel orders. No money out of their pocket at all for things going wrong. Bad feedback? Start a new account. Doesn't matter at all.

I had to turn on one-click after placing that order, that was stressful. Then I double-checked and it said my address wasn't eligible for Prime shipping with one-click so I had to adjust that for future purposes. Ready for the next one, Amazon!

I was able to preorder 2 gold amiibos. One to collect, one to play with. Seriously, scalpers suck. Ebay should cancel their preorders and only allow items in hand.

You have to be careful with that. They do mark your account for returns and refunds even if it isn't your fault. They can close your account permanently if it reaches a certain level.

Meh. I've been a loyal customer for so many years without problems. Doubt they will. After all... I kept asking them to check to make sure the lens they send me is 72mm..and they keep sending the 77mm one. After the third one they decided to close all orders for it and is now doing proper stock checking on it and will contact me if they do still have it after checking. Either way you think you would have done it after the first wrong shipment instead of three..
every time you get some sort of rebate from amazon they put a mark on your account. As for how many marks are to many, when they go away, ect. In general from what I have read it takes near abuse levels to get yourself banned (complaining about every order either being the wrong item or damaged ect) but some people manage to get banned for legit complaints about damaged goods/wrong items when amazon is really sucking it up. If all you really order from amazon are limited editions and most of the time you complain about it being damaged in shipping there is a decent chance you will eventually get banned as it's some sort of customer value thing where amazon's forumla triggers and figures out that you will cost them money in the long run so they shouldn't do business with you.
There is no real hard proof for all of this though, just years of stories from people that have gotten banned from amazon over on CAG (There are likely some emails from amazon talking about marks somewhere). Most of the bans you could clearly see why they got banned, but some indeed deem seem to just be unfortunate luck. It's not really something your average amazon user should worry about. I just try to avoid getting marks because they have good customer service in general and have treated me well in the past (though I will say their CS does seem to be slowly going down hill as they clearly started outsourcing it more or at least everyone I get it's obvious english is their second language)
tl;dr: don't worry about your amazon account getting banned unless you complain about stuff a lot.
for the FE amiibo I likely would have taken the shipping hits as not only do I expect them to stay rare, but I expect them to have a use in the megaten x fire emblem game that should come out in 2016 or 2017. but yeah it seems less and less likely nintendo is going to create a meaningful game for the amiibos like skylanders, and it seems even less likely that capcom will ever stop being butthurt about Keiji Inafune leaving them and actually make a new megaman game that isn't for mobile, a fan game they are promoting or cancelled before release thus I can't see the amiibo being used for much aside from looking cool.
I missed all three chances because I was busy with something else. Guess I can stalk walmart site all day or go on opening day.no more pre order button on walmart welp its been nice gold mario

I hope I can get a little Mac, villager or wii fit with these gold marios.
It's confirmed that every playable Smash WiiU/3DS character is getting one, so a ROB amiibo is locked.
The real question is: Since ROB's default colors are different in the American/European and Japanese versions of Smash, will they make two versions of the ROB amiibo to reflect this?

I never gave a thought to buying Amiibos but yesterday I went in store to buy Majoras Mask 3d and also walked out with... Mega Man, Marth, Dedede, Sonic, Luigi, Shulk, Yoshi, both Links. Mario, Bowser, Kirby and Pikachu.
