I gotta hope so. I was about 3 people too late to get one on release day but was lucky enough to score one in a trade and he's probably my favorite amiibo so far and, uh, I'm not missing a whole lot of 'em. The more people who can get their hands on one the better, especially when Nintendo's advertising features in the new Kirby game half the people who bought it can't access. These exclusives are complete BS when non-exclusives are hard enough to get your hands on.

Easiest way - open up two pages. One for the item you want to search for, and one for item that you can search for. For this example, let's use Sheik and Ike.

First we need to find Ike's product number. On his page, right click his product image and "open image in new tab" (or browser equivalent). The first six digits are his product number. His full imagename is 108105b1.jpg, so his product number is 108105.

On the sheik page, search for her. You'll notice the URL ends with "sku=108101". Just replace that 108101 with Ike's 108105, and you're good.

I'm not finding the "sku=108101" under the product page for Sheik. This is all I see for the URL: htp://www.gamestop.com/accessories/sheik-amiibo-figure/118951

Except with an additional 't' in http, obviously. NeoGAF kept making it a link.

It is what it is. Nothing about amiibos are getting better or have even hinted at it.

Click on the "Check Availability" link. Also, if you have a Gamestop.com account, make sure you're signed OUT. Otherwise, it takes you directly to a "pick up in store" link. I tried looking Ike and just got his product page again. But when I signed out, it showed "Low Stock" or "In Stock" in stores near me.

Edit: Although I guess I don't understand the need for the other way to do it, in replacing the sku numbers with each other to check availability, if there is a button for it.
 
Amazon.it finally managed to ship my Rosalina Amiibo, not the ones from any resellers.
Better late than never I guess. I wonder if they'll ever get constantly restocked. Many of them are being held captive by scalpers.

Best Buy also has the Mario Party with Mario Amiibo. $47.99 with GCU.

Bowser and Peach are listed, just not available yet. Toad isn't listed.
 
I wasn't willing to make the drive, but I was told that the Howell NJ Gamestop got in 32 Mega Man... not sure how much of those were preorders though.

Ocean County Mall had a couple Sonic

...none of those are Wave 3 besides Rosalina. They simply said they were out of stock of Sheik & Toon Link.

I see less and less of Kirby, Fox and Samus these days. I was shocked to see Samus earlier this week at Gamestop.

Hm, you're right. I was thinking there were at least a couple of other wave 3 figures.

But for Rosalina, even though she is a hot-ticket item and an exclusive, there is no reason she should be discontinued, either.

I have read in more than one article that Nintendo was not aware of how popular Amiibos would be in NA. And were trying to correct that, like with the reprints they have announced. That's why I am trying to give them the benefit of the doubt and the optimist in me is hoping we are actually going to be able to see better shipments of amiibos in future waves.

Because the alternative just pisses me off royally, and that is deliberate shortages as there is no 'good' reason for it. And no, causing a craze and re-invigoration with Amiibo hunting is not a good reason.

I am sure someone is going to come along and say I am just setting myself up for disappointment, and I probably I am, but it still doesn't mean I am still remaining hopeful.

has anyone been able to get the smash soundtrack track list to update to english? anyway on the topic of soundtrack, it really sounds amazing. was never able to hear all the detail in the music through the game unlike now.
 
Regardless of if it's different or not, I'll probably pick up a second. If it's new, he joins the collection; just a reprint and I'll open it.

Dang. Just went to Gamestop with my buddy. They had one Mega man left. I let him get it because he's the bigger Mega man fan. Hoping I can find one today though.
 
It's looking as if Gold Mario will be worth even more than Villager.
Selling for $100 and not even out yet.
As someone said before, there may be some in store at launch, but probably no more after that.

Glad I snatched one now. Villager is no longer just a dream!

I think it's too early to tell, but I'm glad I got one.
 
Yo, guys. Do you think it'll be worth it if I preorder the Mario Party + Mario amiibo bundle even if I don't have friends to play it???? Single player will be fun in here? I haven't played a Mario Party game since N64...
 
Yeah just got my little mac, wasn't easy to find one online at a good price
too bad the box was a little damaged but i'm still happy about it :)

And the walmart warehouse plans to bend all the preorder amiibo package backings before placing in shipping boxes making only those found in the wild worth any money
 
Is there anywhere to preorder/import wave 4 anymore, or am I SOL? Decided I don't really care about having "NA" amiibo.

Oh, for sure. I was talking about the imports as a back up so I could have some peace of mind going into the wave 4 pre order slaughter.

I imported Rosalina and Pit, ended up not needing them, but it was nice to have the back up plan.

I still think gold marios will be easy to find when they're released.
