A non-zero quantity of the wave 4 figures got manufactured in January and have the appropriate regulatory approval. Doesn't actually tell us anything about how many of each were made, whether more have been made subsequently, or when exactly the release date is. It does mean that we'll probably hear more about the release soon, I guess.

Lucina looks great in that image. I'm sure the actual model won't look as awesome, but I'm hopeful.

So I wrote a complaint to Amazon a couple day ago about my Mario Party 10-Amiibo bundle going from 49.99 to 59.99 (I preordered it at 49.99). And the lady aid that she can give me a $10 off on my next purchase promotion to make up for it.
I just went to go apply a gift card to my Toad amiibo. The mario party was back down to 49.99.
And I still have the $10 off.

And im like WTF i called this store to see if i had a pre order and they told me i didn't. I thought I had done a pre-order but couldn't remember.

Anyway it seems like the amiibo situation is improving - saw lots of Mega Man, Sonic, Shiek, and Toon Link at the store i was at. I bought sonic.

I picked up a 2 each of Toon Link and Sheik earlier. Are they rare enough separately or together to trade for Captain Falcon or Rosalina? Any takers? If not, I wouldn't mind selling them at retail + shipping to anyone if interested.

They are not rare at all.
Unfortunately yeah, neither are that rare. If you go to a store, and it doesn't have them, go to the next one, and they probably will. Captain Falcon and Rosalina were pretty equally rare, but now Captain Falcon is getting a fair bit of restock to various Best Buys...but it's still TBD how many Best Buys are getting any of them.

It says lines start at 8 AM, but what's a more realistic time to arrive to be near the front and get a chance at all the Amiibos available?
Also, is it one Amiibo per person or just one character per person, so you can grab all the available ones? Really want Rosalina, Lucario and Shulk.
Also, since it's Saturday, will there be any close by free or cheap metered parking? Just because it's the weekend, I rather drive in instead of park in Queens and taking the subway.

well if anyone is having a hard time finding them (Toon Link and Sheik) locally I'll hold onto them for a couple days before trying to offload them on eBay without losing too much. Just PM me if you are interested.

I'm wondering the same. Not sure what time I should get there by. People are going to be lining up across the street before 8 though. That's what happened last time when they had D3 and Ike.
No free parking on Sat, that's for Sunday. Thinking of just taking the train from Queens to NWD and getting there by 7.

While I am sure we will get Rosalina and DK in their MP10 form, it is not exclusive to just MP10.
All Nintendo universes will have them.

All of those series/universes have a major game launch this year and Amiibo will be released with each. Those Splatoon Amiibos will be real. Watch and see.
Mario Maker is coming this year too but will likely use the Super Mario Series.
I wanted to let you know that getting there an hour earlier might be good enough, ehen i went to the triple luanch event last month there were some people who arrived earlier than 6 A.M. but it was managable
As long as you get there before 9 A.M. you should definitely be safe, it took 3 hours for rares like ike to be sold out last time

You only get so much rope from amazon's amazing customer service before they cut you loose though.
