I completed my order using the first URL and got a text saying it should be ready for me by 9PM tonight... can that actually be possible? It was only available at one store in a 50 mile radius. Brickseek is also saying it's available. Have I actually slain my white whale? I feel like I'm counting chickens and need to be held.

Last November I tried to order a Lego Advent Calendar from Walmart for instore pickup.
I went in, dude brought out a completely unrelated Lego set, asked if this was my order.
I said 'nope' and found out their stock is terribly mismanaged.
Moral of the story: Walmart is shit when it comes to in-store pickup for hard-to-get items.

I want the whole Star Fox team, Star Wolf team, James McCloud, Bill Grey, General Pepper and in an unprecedented move, the first non-character amiibo including the Arwing, Landmaster, Blue Marine and Great Fox. And Andross, if they feel like it. And maybe Katt Monroe and Krystal so it's not a total sausage fest. And maybe ROB64 so he can confirm your location and send supplies.
Yeah no Toad here yet either. My GameStop has absolutely none of the Mario line still, somehow, and Wal-Mart has everyone but Toad and Gold Mario.

Went to Walmart to just check and they had Gold Mario signs all over... but didn't even have a shelf spot where it would be, just old Smash figures and the Mario series Peach.

I'd rather have figmas.
Most places don't have them. No where near my zipcode has any for example. Sounds like people luck out here and there and run into a batch (probably right after they were stocked)

I suspect this is Nintendos greatest victory. Make amiibos look rare as rare can be. Release a GOLD mario. Sit back and count their money. There was a comment yesterday (?) about someone finding a stack of them just sitting on the shelf. Gold Mario = More common the air.

I just got back from a 4 hour tattoo session so I'm kinda wore out, but if a lot of people here really want one, gimme a couple of hours to recuperate and I shall go claim gold for you guys.
I wanted to take a quick photo of the Amiibo's that I have in the Super Mario Bros. line. With the exception of Toad, I was surprised I was able to get everyone, given I have heard horror stories that Bowser was going to be produced in fewer quantities for Canadian retailers. Everyone here looks mostly perfect, but Mario's left side-burn is a bit off. Nothing but a bit of brown paint couldn't fix.
(For the record, I'm not going to bother tracking down Gold/Silver Mario.)
