Android |OT5| The Sonic Cycle

Yeah :\

Definitely not an end all solution, but at least slightly better than what comes default.

But you shouldn't have to tweak things manually on a flagship when something like the S6 is great out of the box.

You shouldn't to at all unless you're trying to do a specific type of shot. 90% of people will not know how to tweak the camera at all including myself. It needs to come out of the box making great shots which is why the iPhone is always lauded as a great camera.

I know you're trolololololling, but inductive charging is still pretty inefficient from an energy transfer perspective.

Yeah, I have an HP Touchpad. It takes about twice as long to charge using the inductive charger than when I plug it in. However the inductive charging stand is so convenient, I can just plop the the Touchpad on the stand at night and grab it off the stand in the morning. Well I would if my Touchpad wasn't in a drawer somewhere because I never use it anymore. There were some good ideas that came from the Touchpad, I wish my Surface had an inductive charging stand that worked the same way.

iPhone is lauded as a good camera because good marketing lol. If you show people an iPhone picture without telling them it's an iPhone shot, they don't have the most positive reactions.

My dog was murdered by a 3.5mm audio port and I will not rest until the standard is dead
I'd totally go for a phone with zero ports if turbo charging wasn't a thing.

is it not possible for a phone to connect to multiple bluetooth devices at the same time?

I have my Z3 paired with my car BT (which is phone only, no music streaming), and a Nokia BT-111 which is hooked up to my car's 3.5mm aux-in, and set to media only (disabled the phone mic part).

It'll connect to the car automatically, but I seem to have to go into BT settings and tap the BH111 to connect to it. When I do that, it'll be connected to both at the same time, but obviously I'd like to do it automatically.

That way I can get music streaming through the car speakers (and navigation etc), while still receiving phone calls.

My old bluetooth headphones wouldn't autopair when I changed phones, turns out it was waiting for the first phone I registered. Try cleaning out the paired devices, first delete the headset from your phone BT settings, then do this on the Nokia headset:

You can clear the paired devices list on your headset.
Switch the headset off, and press and hold the call pickup button for 9 seconds. The headset beeps twice,
and the red and green indicator lights alternate. After the settings are cleared, pairing mode is activated.

I don't think you can. I'm assuming it's some bluetooth protocol because when I connect my headset to my phone and tablet, it will only automatically connect to the last device it was paired with. I have to manually select the second device for that connection to be paired as well.

If you had an Android Wear watch, an OBD-Link, and streamed music, it would connect to all 3 devices without problem because they're not sharing the same media/phone connection. Although, for my OBD-Link, I had to go into my Dash app settings and experiment with the different connection types before I got it to work. I don't think those same options are available in order to achieve completely separate and automated pairing for what you're looking for.

I think people just latched on to the hot CPU and ran with it. I'm sure it takes decent photos in good light outdoors, or in low light with flash - those other shots with high ISO are not typical and very much a stress test.

Tbh most people pick their phone based on how it looks - look at all the posts in herenabout a phone with a bendy screen.

Software processing can play a big part in how pictures turn out. Sony phones suffer from the same thing even though they have good sensors.

What are we supposed to say? Nice pics?

This ain't a photo of someones kid. It's a camera (and phone) that obviously should've never come off the line. Everyone suggested returning for a better phone as HTC fucked up big time, but if he wants to keep it, more power to him.

you can't post those terrible quality photos and expect people to not cringe though

You waiting on an S6?

Yeah.

Contact costumer service if you care enough. I didn't get my slim ps3 by launch day even though I paid for that option and contacted them. They just waived the shipping fee entirely

I never pay for shipping through Amazon, though :(

Call them and bitch. You will get some compensation out of it.

I'll see what they can give me. Might just check out an AT&T store today, though I don't know how stock will be.

Bad weather might get mine delayed as well. UPS still has it set for today just later than the guaranteed time.
Mine is set for Wednesday and the 32GB normal black one for AT&T isn't even listed on Amazon anymore, so I have a feeling it's a stock issue.

To be fair reviews so far have said that it's a good phone overall. It just isn't as a big improvement over the M8 as people had hoped.
