Those wallet cases are extremely popular in Korea. No surprise LG is making one. They're ugly.

Myself and the wife ordered the Honor 7. For £209 it was worth a gamble. God knows when it'll get here though, will have to put up with my OPO a while longer.

so far the battery life is wildly inconsistent today I got home with 15% left and Chrome taking 13% battery and Google Services taking 14%

The fingerprint scanner is getting a bit worse and i've noticed that when your press it there's like a second delay before you're actually taken to the home screen which you don't get with on screen navigation. it got quite hot earlier too while on chrome browsing on my lunch break.

Oh and that old Nexus case is back this time with a flip cover

Ouch. Sounds like software problems. As soon as a stable Cyanogen nightly is out, I'd flash that and dump Oxygen.

I like oxygen though but that might be my PA fanboyism reaching out. but I'll be trying cyanogen when it takes off and the scanner works but atm I don't even think there's a codename for the OP2.

Lol at the fanboys on the OP2 forums defending the home button and calling people (including me) a moron for not pressing it properly

Prreety sure I know how to press a button

There is a Cyanogen build on xda for the OP2, but fingerprint scanner doesn't work yet. The hardware is good though, so atleast all of these issues seem to be software this time.

Yeah I know but as you said fingerprint doesn't work and neither does the alert slider (which btw i don't care what anyone says it's clearly upside down)

Just hope not too far away from proper cyanogen

seriously, Tab S is just too good

shame about the Tab S 2

My issue is that I'm looking for performance more than anything, specifically with web browsing. Being able to run emulator games well is a bonus (not really hard to pull off) with the exception of Dolphin. Lastly, the battery life was the next important factor for me. It's really a shame that no one wants to even try anymore on the Android tablet land. I would honestly just buy a Z3 Compact Tablet at $300, but Sony seems to still be in another galaxy when it comes to pricing on their tablets.

It's not like I'm trying to even avoid the iPad, but to me, it's not worth the $500 I'd have to pay for a 64 GB if I happen to find it on sale - even with the multitasking. At that point it's better it just shell out for a Surface 3 for superior performance in flexibility in... everything.

It's a two day old Galaxy S6 Edge.

So no.

Actually it takes a few days of running to get accurate. But it could also be a ton of background things going on if there's a lot of bloat or you just connected to wifi (and a lot of wifi only actions go off at once like app updates, podcast download, picture cloud sync...)

One day it will be socially acceptable to use a big phone. Even when you're not pretty.

I think someone should make a Bluetooth headset but shaped like a little candy bar phone. So you have your big screen phablet in your bag but you talk to people using the secondary device.

What news have come out of IFA thus far?

- Sony announcing their Z5 line-up
- Motorola revealing Moto360 2nd gen.
- Nextbit Robin cloud phone.

I wanna wait for the Nex5X, but I also kinda want Moto maker shenanigans. Argh.

I know you guys will laugh at me but I bought a a Lenovo K3 note for $150 from China and installed a nexus rom on it just now and this shit is awesome. Seriously unreal for the price. Super smooth. Out of the box the rom sucks and is bloated as hell so rooting and custom rom is a must if you want to get one.

Never spending money on a big brand name again.

picked up the moto g

mh. has a faint blue tinted smug in middle-down the screen. looks like applied pressure or something since I can make it bigger if I pressure it

other than that it's flawless

it really is distracting in whites and grays but its one of those omg clean new device bummer things

trying to decide how much it bothers me..

Simple problem:

I am able to watch live NFL games via comcast.net by streaming them to my PC.

I am able to trick Comcast.net into thinking my Galaxy Tab is a PC with the Dolphin browser "identify as" feature.

But the Flash version isn't current enough to actually stream the content so I get the Flash version error.

I am THIS close to solving a TV-in-Kitchen problem for free, with no wires. Anyone any idea how to either upgrade the Flash version, or recommend another (browser?) solution?
