Who's disappointed with their new Nexus?
You most likely.Who's disappointed with their new Nexus?
Best phone I've ever owned, and I've owned a LOT.Who's disappointed with their new Nexus?
Don't worry friend, your time will come.
Phone feels fantastic. It is a damn shame that I will have a case around this beauty.

Why are all Android screens rubbish compared to iPhone screens? I am specifically talking about the way iPhone screens display content like the content is painted on the screen. There is like zero space between the glass and the content. It's been years and it isn't common on non-iPhones.
other flagships use the same tech but like everything else, the implementation/execution isn't as good as apple. And there's rumours that they might have something better for the iphone 7 lol. Not sure how much better it can get.Why are all Android screens rubbish compared to iPhone screens? So that video where the guy (JerryRigEverything) easily bends the Nexus 6p, well he decided to do it a second time (sort of): Nexus 6p is a joke! Round TWO - Why does it bend?
Very interesting, if I may so myself.
Edit:
Yikes. :S
yup, hopefully it's worth the wait.
Isn't from the ifixit tear down that is where the motherboard and the battery is separated where it's splitting in the gifSo that video where the guy (JerryRigEverything) easily bends the Nexus 6p, well he decided to do it a second time (sort of): Nexus 6p is a joke! Round TWO - Why does it bend?

The Gram is infinitely better on iphones because of this.Yeah I can't stand it either.
Though I will say, the GS6+ I played with comes pretty close to feeling the same. Like you're interacting with pixels, not glass.
Apple stays winning. It's just baffling how Apple has done this screen for years and no one has caught up.other flagships use the same tech but like everything else, the implementation/execution isn't as good as apple. Bruh you are far too hyperbolic at times. Why are all Android screens rubbish compared to iPhone screens? If anybody is looking for a budget device the Xperia M4 is $200 on Amazon. S615 CPU, 2GB RAM, 720p 5" screen, and 16GB/MicroSD support, and it's waterproof makes it sound like a very good phone for the cost.

It's alright. However, there is noticeable lag/jank if you're going from a Nexus 5 to an Aqua M4.The SD615 should fly at 720p. Phone probably has pretty good performance.

Small, but there.
So far really enjoying my time with the 6P, but I noticed one thing.
There's this strange, buzzing-type noise when I plug in headphones, but don't have any audio playing. It's a very low noise, so I'm not sure if it continues when audio is actually playing, but weirdly enough, the noise stops if I go to the home screen of the launcher. It only happens when I'm in an app (any app, even the dialer).
Anyone else run into that? I mean, it's not atrocious, and definitely not a deal breaker, but it's something weird I noticed.
I use it. But it will revert back to use the standard calibration if you reboot the phone.

6p finally shipped. Fuck lg g3 and youre laggy bullshit.

Mehh. Just bought a family member this for Xmas. What's wrong with it?
We desperately need force touch next year. And good screens.
long presses are not the same as 3d touch. Not sure why some people keep saying that.I can more than deal with no force touch. I don't think it's good UI and it's nothing long-presses can't do. I'd prefer significant R&D time to go into power consumption efficiency than into another gimmick.

It's not a gimmick either. It's a feature that will be standard on smartphones and it's a new way of interacting with a mobile OS. Fast forward a little while from now and we'll all be doing it as if it was second nature. The implimentations are straight up useful that I've seen so far. I really don't see why anyone wouldn't want it.
but to be clear, it's not because there aren't any lol.Because people haven't seen a lot of good examples.

Me? I do it all the time for stress relief. Let people do what they want with their money man. I thought this was America. But who in their right mind would bend a phone like that in real life...
but to be clear, it's not because there aren't any lol.
The app shortcuts are great, like you mentioned. All I know is shortcuts to app functions and moving the cursor. Anything else?
