Best low budget device on the market.
How's the mini version btw? Trying to find a good anniversary gift and her current phone is pretty crap, but she refuses to use anything above 5 inches.

Funny how these copy business work. When Apple copies Samsungs big screen, or a gazillion features from android in its latest iOS, you dont see iRentboys going rabid and holding Apple to such high standards. Meh, why harp this tired old rhetoric? Fact is, everybody copies everybody. Its not a trait exclusive to Apple or any OEMIt's implementation that is key. I'm sure exactly how it's used on the new iphones is what samsung and co will copy in 2016. Once Apple hands it off devs for ios will make it takeoff and then it'll be the next must have thing.
There is an "Easy Mode" in the settings, too should turn that on for her.My poor old mother got a Asus Zenphone 2 as a backup phone and is so jarred when she uses it haha. I hope the next update makes it easy for her. Installing Aviate helped a lot.
Why hasn't that six-finger guy gotten his hands on the Nexus 5-2/6-2 and posted a video walkthrough yet? He's slipping.
it is easy to make the joke, but until iphones ship with built-in wireless charging.....
My worst fear is that Apple comes up with their own wireless charging standard and Qi wireless gets ignored even more.
Dumb LG logo at the bottom comes real close to ruining it.
It really doesn't. It's not great, not pretty, but I don't see how it ruins it. The stupid Nexus branding is worse.

Yeah, it's extremely busy in all the wrong ways. It's the combo of the flash, camera ring, finger print scanner, then nexus branding, then lg branding.
Yeah, the new Nexus 5 might beat the Nexus 4 as the worst looking Nexus phone.
Yea guys remember those great phones that have 0 manufacturer branding?
Oh wait.

You need to be quicker with your sparky remarks, because it was made clear that it wasn't about the logo alone, but how busy the back looks.
New Zenfone 2 update improves the battery life tremendously and all bloatware can be disabled. Great phone for folks on a low budget.
Really, it's the back, you aren't going to stair at it all day, if you don't like it just put a skin on it or put it in a case.
its a good lookin back and serves a purpose at least

Some people care about how the things look they spend hundreds on and use every day. Crazy, I know.
And those shitty skin cases are ruined by default, because of the stupid fingerprint reader on the back.
You rather have:
Smaller camera sensor (to reduce the bulge)
Remove the laser focus
Remove the dual LED flash
Move the finger print to the front (creating even bigger bezels)
Remove the finger print altogether to make the back and front clean - setting back using Android Pay with finger print sensor.
That will give you a nice looking back and much less features. But hey, it will look clean.
