Thanks, but it looks like it has a mediatek SoC. If I were to got one of these Chinese phones, I'd need good ROM support.redimi note 3.

Wondering that they'll price it at.... plus that 821.

Headphone jack built in?
Headphone jack built in?That value is pretty incredible. For reference here are the specs.

LeEco Le Pro3 $400.
Snapdragon 821.
4GB RAM.
64GB Storage.
16MP/8MP Cameras.
5.5" Full HD Display.
4070mAh Battery with QC 3.0
Headphone jack built in?
I really, really wish it was a 1440p screen at that price. Would be HUGE. However, having the back button on the right side is going to fuck with a lot of people, I would think.
Ah screw this phone.ha ha ha no
No headphone jack? Courage.
Those Le'phones have very nice specs for the price. Too bad everyone says expect no support. I don't need Google/Nexus like support but if they were in line with the other $400 Chinese phones I wouldn't mind getting one.
The Next Frontier. That Leco pimping out that 4070 mAh battery
no, LeCourage
LeEco have pushed out a few security updates and updated their first-generation phones to Marshmallow last month. Those Le'phones have very nice specs for the price. Although no Headphone jack, or MicroSD Support.
Buying le pro 3. You get $100 off on 11/02 so will only be $299. Comes with unlocked bootloader.
I've never heard of this company
The capacitive buttons make me want to vom though...other way round and that home button....ugh
The name of the device alone makes me want to vomit. Le Eco Le Pro
it's not even top 5 this year.
all of the reviews basically say the same thing... it's an ok device, jack of a few trades, missing a few obvious high end features, priced ridiculously high, but it gets updates come right from Google.
The name is truly horrible. The very name itself and a lack of head phone jack make me happily not want to ever purchase this.
Well those reviews basically praise the camera, good, and the usual stock Android stuff and... nothing else really, something already known and pixels don't seem to be substantially better than other flagships released 9+ months ago that are cheaper today so...😂
You might want to go read those reviews again...
Or at least read all of them this time, instead of just the 3 that follow your agenda.
Also, here's the more affordable LeEco Le S3.
http://www.lemall.com/us/phone/leeco_le_s3/index.html
LeEco Le S3. Costs $250 and has the $100 "LeRewards" Rebate as well.
Snapdragon 652.
3GB RAM.
32GB Storage.
5.5" Full HD Display.
16MP/8MP Cameras.
3000mAh Battery with QC 3.0
Aluminum Body.
No Headphone jack, or MicroSD which may hurt it even at that low price point.
I kind of want this one, especially if I can get that rebate. Do I really need a s821 instead of a s652? Probably not.
I'm guessing the skin blows, though.
You'll probably get better support through xda devs than the phone provider anyways.
I always seem to forget how this works, but you don't need to root a phone to change ROMs if the phone comes with an unlocked bootloader, correct?
Incorrect! First step to installing a new ROM is unlocking bootloader. It's good when it comes unlocked though because for some brands like Moto and ZTE unlocking bootloader voids your warranty. Shipped unlocked boot loader usually equals a good dev support which is critical. So steps to install ROM are -
- unlock bootloader
- side load TWRP (unlocking bootloader allows this)
- flash custom ROM of your choice and Gapps with TWRP (most of these just come rooted, so there's no need to root a phone unless you plan to use stock android rooted)
At this point modding Android is so well documented that unless you're 12 years old or 60 years old and don't know how to use a computer I have no idea why anyone would run stock Android (unless you have major security concerns, but I don't even think stock Android is even secure anyways). I'm on stock Android until my replacement phone comes and it's driving me mad.
I think either you either misread what I said or I'm pretty confused, because I said I thought you don't have to root to load a custom ROM.
Today my Xperia X3 Compact started to drain its battery massively.
I checked what apps were on, but nothing weird there, then I checked the apps' battery status but only the android system took any significant power.
Anyone? Help? Pls?
I have $33 from Google Opinion rewards, want to spend it on some paid apps,
So far I have on the potential buy list
Pocketcast for podcasts
Moonreader for e-reader/txt
Poweramp for music
weather timeline for weather
Nova Launcher
any other recommendations?
