Funny enough ios 10 added frame skipping so that it will skip frames of animation if lag happens.
So performance is sped up on older devices but you will notice less smoothness in the animations lol.
Well, kudos to Apple for at least trying.

What is HTC thinking?
Nothing in Android O looks even remotely interesting; maybe the notifications, I guess.
We've really hit snoresville with these annual OS updates (on all platforms, not just Android). Long gone are the years of significant yearly updates.

What are y'all's current homescreen?
A lot of Icon packs going free these days so I've been playing around with them all. Liking these.

That's not what stock Samsung looks like
Trying to keep as stock as possible on an unrooted S7
Worse. Android is way faster but less smooth. It'll take like three flicks to scroll down a GAF thread on Android and iOS is a continual slog.Yo Boy AJ how much faster is web browsing on your iPhone vs Android?
I'm pretty boring
My Home Screen
still funny lolMy Home Screen

The standout, according to Google, is Sony Mobile. Sony has so far contributed more than 30 feature enhancements and 250 bug fixes, a Google spokesperson said.
Chief among Sonys priorities seems to be helping Android become a better platform for wirelessly enjoying high-res audio. Or at least something close to it, and substantially better than what Bluetooth does right now. Sony has contributed its LDAC wireless audio coding technology to Android O. LDAC can transfer much more data over Bluetooth up to a bitrate of 990kbps than whats typically possible from smartphones. Heres one explainer from Sony, and heres another.
Side note I hate how all the major carriers will fawn over you if you are a new customer or adding lines, but they give 0 fucks if you are an existing customer.
You almost are better off switching carriers every year or two to get the credits. It's fucking stupid.
at least they're doing something lol
Does anyone know how I can get rid of this lock screen?
I have a Vodafone S6 Edge that I just upgraded to Android 7 and I only started seeing this lock screen after I upgraded. It's pissing me off because I don't want it and it's a lock screen over the regular Android lock screen :/
That's not the stock lock screen I hope lol. Looks terrible.
See if some 3rd party lockscreen app was added?
What pho e are you using? I feel like a time traveler looking at your icons lol
Android O seems nice. Lots of refinement and smaller new features.
Here's my home screen:

comic sans. You realize Android GAF gonna haunt you with that home screen till the day you die. Lol
You can install a different dialer or contacts app that have that feature. On my dialer I have that option under settings, blocked numbers, yours should be similar ( I think all dialers will have it somewhere).
