Angry Joe being accused of sexual harassment

I've never watched AngryJoe so have no preconceived notions about him one way or the other, but reading that article, I can't help but feel for her.

Not that he assaulted her, but it's written in a fairly believable, unembellished manner from someone who doesn't come across as an attention whore, and to me the guy sounds like a repugnant dickhead.

The part where he tried to scare her into thinking her close male friend (who she trusted and knew much better than she knew Joe) might rape her because she was drunk was quite worrying if true. Who does that?

Taking her phone from her and her having no access to it for several hours is also super shitty if true.

Also, some scepticism is healthy/fair (especially when despicable cunts like Amber Heard exist) but treating every case as a joke and dismissing it immediately is pretty harsh and more than a little bit backwards.
 
Well if you aren't into the whole BLM cult thing you are a nazi racist according to them, so it isn't suprising that shitty date = predator.
 
I have a friend who got his life DESTROYED by a lie (later she confessed that was a lie), i dont know if is the case here, but i always wait to see what happens in these cases, ppl who rush to destroy reputations in cases like these are TRASH.

I read the whole thing, and it's funny because when she says this...

"He has done this before. I have no doubt in my mind he has done this to other women in the industry. Everything he did, he had a reason behind it. I'm sure he'll deny it all, but he didn't "lose" his phone for nothing, he didn't have us take pictures for nothing, he planned it so if I ever did come forward, I would look like I was 100% willing and he had the "proof"

Most people would read that part and take her side. But the whole time I'm reading this I'm not seeing any sexual assault in this situation. She's entirely in control, and the way she writes it, it almost seems like Joe is moving fast-paced and that he is just everywhere at once and she can't control her surroundings, or whats going on. But I would think all of this was within the span of several hours.

I'd have to think she wanted to experience some bit of his world. This is why she stayed with him, and I do think some parts are a bit creepy like the phone being taken but you're at the lunch with his execs youtube so I understand why they wouldn't want you to have your phone.

She also HAS A BOYFRIEND, she could've said she had one prior to it escalating at certain points throughout their night together. I think that's what bugs me the most, you are grown women you are smart enough to read between the lines especially with a guy hitting on you. He's trying to see what works and what doesn't work but it's funny cause I feel like if it was a lower profile dude she would say it outright "I'm not interested" but she didn't say that with joe until later on.

I hate that the courtship process is just so messed up now. Because I honestly do think this situation where a guy might not have much game would try to use his fame to get a girl and he may have a script he follows and it didn't work.

Courtship isn't perfect you may come off creepy, weird, etc, it happens. But the way she writes this you would think he did something far more egregious.
 
I'm surprised more rock stars haven't been accused of shit. All the women those dudes have smashed? I guess the difference is that the types of women who sleep with rock stars don't have twitter accounts.

yeah, it is a tough situation when no one knows the truth and it is just one person. When it is multiple people tho, like Cosby or Bill Clinton, it is justifiable to condemn them even without a court case.

Problem is half these socially awkward kids in streaming and gaming don't know how to be socially normal. Go to these parties and events and it turns out to be a cluster fuck if anyone hits on anyone.

Keanu Reeves is amazing. But what a sad state of affairs when rich, handsome and popular actor is afraid to put his hand on any woman on photo bc he can lose everything. Angry Joe is an idiot, never was his fan. But I feel for him too. If I was a conspiracy theorist I would say it is all about his negative views on TLOU2 and Twitter activists can forgive him for that. But nah. It's just a crazy world we live in rn. And it's even more sad.

- Night kept going on, she said she consumed alcohol, though she claims that it didn't affect her for the most part.

- Angry Joe invites her in his room to wait for him so that she doesn't stay in the hallway to wait. She accepted the invitation.
- Angry Joe takes a quick shower and casually hits on her again while waiting for the table at dinner. She gets nervous. Angry Joe then proceeds with small talk, of which she takes part of with no issue.

- Tables ready, dinner ensues. She doesn't know anyone there, gets more nervous. She hasn't spoken to her friend that accompanied her or her alleged boyfriend (of which she had not communicated about before) in hours.
- Dinner's over for them, they both accepted to leave together to go to another party. Seems like there were two pubs by the same name, one of which her friend was there. Joe takes her to the other one. Though she can leave, she didn't want to embarrass herself, so she doesn't.
- Time goes by, drinks are being consumed, Angry Joe introduces her to a bunch of people. Allthough she doesn't feel like staying, she doesn't leave, and she doesn't tell Joe anything that would imply that she wants to leave.
- They both keep on drinking, Joe is buying her the drinks/She is not buying her own drinks; Though she allegedly threw her drinks away while Joe wasn't looking.
- She walks outta there and texts her friend that she wants to leave, then proceeds to call her boyfriend. They talk.
- Angry Joe then finds her, asks who she was talking to and if she was talking to her boyfriend. She replied "No."

- She leaves. Joe approaches her to leave with him together. Numerous excuses ensue, fundamentally refusing.
- She walks away, and Joe approaches her yet again, pulls her out of sight and allegedly against a wall. Completely drunk and pissed. This dialogue allegedly ensues:

Angry Joe: "What's your idea?"
Female: "No idea what you're talking about"
Angry Joe: "You're no better than every other girl, I thought you were better than that"
Female: Shock!
Angry Joe: "You're no better than every other girl who uses me to get contacts and to grow their platform"
Female: Denies everything, promptly explaining why.
Angry Joe: "After I do ALLLL this for you, You meet my friends, I take you to dinner (that she says that Youtube paid for), I pay for everything and you leave me hanging, the least you could do is come back with me"
Female: Refuses and leaves.

- Angry Joe then asks her not to say anything about this otherwise it would ruin his career and hers.
- Angry Joe offers to pay for her cab. She refuses and leaves.

I think Angry Joe is a good reviewer at best, and at times an socially awkward idiot at worst. Dude is obviously passionate about gaming, but man he really needs to be more professional if he wants to be taken seriously as a gaming personality.

These allegations against him smell like bullshit though. Unless this woman has any sort of tangible proof, she's just a vindictive harpy trying to ruin the guy in my eyes. Maybe he did act like an sexist oaf to her, I'm not discounting that since he does come off like that at times (that interview Joe did with Felicia Day is cringe as fuck). But after Johnny Depp and ProJared, I think everyone is on the wounded gazelle gambit these women pull.

And yes, I'm fully convinced this is something the SJWs cooked up in order to stop him from releasing his sure-to-be scathing review of The Last of Us 2.

Never watched his show but the fact that the "metoo"-movement is starting up again does not surprise me. White middle class girls don't get much attention now due to BLM.

This witch hunt movement have destroyed enough lifes by now so that anyone with a working brain should just roll their eyes at stuff like this. A culture profile in Sweden actually commited suicide due to the massive amount of slander and hate he faced from his former collegues and friends. Of course the people behind the smear campaign was never held responsible either. Even though they sort of admitted that it was lies.

And let's not forget the other unsung assholes. Those colleagues and team mates who will rush to push the accused over the cliff. What a horrible way to find out who your friends are.
 
Tempest in a teapot. I'm sure the lady felt uncomfortable, but nothing actually happened. Seems like at the end Joe was disappointed and frustrated that it didn't work out (And that miscommunication is to blame on the lady too), but he calmed down and tried to make things right. They should'va talked about this in private, and not on Twitter.

Not only that, I've seen in the last, what, 2 years or so, PoC only applies to certain colors now depending on the situation. Like asian people are basically lumped into white now. Hell, everything I've been reading/watching, you'd think (to someone on the outside) that America is comprised of only white and black.

Its this kind of shit that will lessen the impact of real cases of abuse.
 
Pretty amazing Anita Sarkiseeian admitting to looking the other way to accept money from someone she knew was a rapist is flying under the radar. Like lol we gonna cancel this guy for having no game but she can take rapist money for 5+ years and play cover for him and admit it and yet there are no repurcussions. Amazing.
