I was neutral to Anita before but reading up on her opened my eyes to what a scam artist she truly is.

It's too bad Neil Druckmann cucked himself before her and The Last of US 2 suffered because of it.

Its very interesting whats happening to AngryJoe right now, the day after he accused the gaming media of coming together in unity for Cuckman with their reviews.
 
This whole 'story' got me really angry...

First of, I am not a fan of Joe's. I think he has talent in producing video game reviews and bringing across his point backed up by his gameplay, but that whole angry persona seems fake and annoying.

Now reading that 'sexual harassment' story and just looking at the facts she presents while ignoring the completely subjective 'I felt trapped and afraid' crap just highlights the obvious. She liked the idea of hanging out with a big YouTuber and wanted to give him the illusion of being interested in him by not telling him she has a boyfriend or rejecting his attempts at flirting. She had the whole damn evening to slip in something like 'Haha, I am not sure my boyfriend would like that' or 'I gotta text my boyfriend that I won't answer my phone for some time'. She tried her best to give Joe the illusion that they're having a first date and what would Joe and every normal man do in this situation? Trying his best to impress the girl while simultaneously carefully checking out how far he is able / she is willing to go. She didn't respond to the shower joke? Well he got that and came into the room COMPLETELY CLOTHED. Now in the end she says that he is basically begging her to spend the night with him, but that is the one thing that I think is a blatant lie. Basically at this point Joe realizes that she used his affection to gain a sneak peak into the life of a YouTube star and that just made him sad and frustrated. You try your best to impress a girl you find interesting and is it turns out she was just playing along with no interest in you whatsoever... and for a semi-celebrity who deals with this shit on regular basis, it may be extremely frustrating. I urge you all to read her text while taking Joe's role. That's some eye-opening stuff and the fact that he might lose his sponsors/income because of this shit (she literally wrote that she contacted his representers!) makes me furious.

And don't get me started on ResetEra. 'Yikes, he is pro-gun so it was just a matter of time before something like this happened!'

It's the most likely scenario. Joe's an ass at time but he does have a following and his word carries weight. His review for The Last of Us 2 will surely be a black mark against Sony and make all the other 'gaming journalists' look like paid shills. They need to cancel him as soon as possible in order to avoid a shitshow.

The timing is way a bit too convenient for this to not be a petty retaliation against him for not liking TLOU2.

I don't even agree with most of his views, but that "allegation" is a publicity stunt. That is not how you actually handle a sexual harassment/assault case.

Sounds like, if any of it is true, that she didn't want to tell him she had a boyfriend and wanted to stay with him just because of who he was. In other words, exactly like Joe said to use him.

Judging by the pics of this girl she probably never gets hit on so when she does it traumatizes her for life not knowing what is going on.
 
I *really* hope AngryJoe fires back. Not his biggest fan, but he always struck me as someone who follows a "no bullshit" regimen, so hopefully he won't cower to these baseless accusations and steps up.

Sexual harrassment is not a crime. Neither is being a slime trying to get laid. She didn't/doesn't work for him, so there is literally nothing here.

Right?! When I was working on Dreadnought, he swung by our booth at PAX South. I was surprised (somewhat) that while he acted pretty comfortable and extroverted via videos. In person he really didn't, at least in that moment. I was showing him the ropes on the game as I was asked to. The entire time I was providing info, it's like I was talking to a wall. He didn't even really acknowledge me, lmao. Maybe he expected me to act star struck? I don't know, that ain't me, especially with influencers/YouTubers, lol. The crew that was with him however, were all really cool. I just figured he was having a day, haha.

It's why I said he's a bit socially awkward in that previous post. Definitely feels accurate.

I'm neutral on Joe. He's funny sometimes but mostly just annoying with the screaming.

Having said that, there's alot of things she said in her post that I caught that instantly add up. As expected, others in this thread caught it too. The problem is she has one foot in adulthood and the other back in childhood. She's not smart or mature enough to even fabricate a believable story. It outright exposes what she was doing, unintentionally. That's what is embarrassing, and I shouldn't even be embarrassed for her.

Which is the reason he shouldn't hit back in fact he should ignore it entirely even making an apology is a slippery slop, next he will have to apologize for the apology, etc. the more you cave the more ammo you are giving to be used against you

If he never had sexual contact, which sounds like the case tbh, then he should entirely ignore it

For fuck's sake, one of ProJared's accusers NEVER ACTUALLY MET HIM! She had some sort of mental illness where should couldn't determine reality from fantasy and one of her fantasies was being sexually assaulted by Jared. Yet, not only has Jared never met up with this woman before, HE NEVER EVEN SPOKE TO HER AND HAD NO IDEA WHO SHE WAS!

So yeah, for the time being I'm believing Joe is innocent until this chick can actually prove him guilty. I honestly wouldn't be surprised if this is over him streaming and not liking TLOU2

At worst, and assuming all of this is true which I doubt, it's a case of him being awkward and mistaking her intentions , and her being uncomfortable and still going along with it for some reason.
She makes it sound like she was being taken hostage or something.

Then nothing happens? She isn't accusing his partners is she? Why would they care? It's not going to affect the channel, just the people predisposed to hate him will hate him more. They aren't his audience so why should he care?

Maybe she is sitting on a goldmine of evidence they will unleash later. That's a possibility. If so then it's hard to imagine they wouldn't be made aware of that. If we see everyone he works with bailing on him then that would be evidence in her favor. However that doesn't appear to be the case so far.

There is a possibility that he is going to lose some sponsors over this, so no he shouldn't be silent about this. On the contrary he should fucking sue this disingenuous piece of shit into oblivion, to set a precedent for the future so no one gets pointlessly ruined because someone wanted to get some relevancy by screeching sexual harassment on twitter.
