Now, this isn't a rant thread, but is there anyone else that doesn't feel the excitement about this coming gen of games? I own an Xbox, Gamecube, GBA, DS, and now a 360.
So far, my DS has been great, but the 360 has been a letdown, though XBL has made it worth it so far [despite the fact that some of the "better" games have shitty lobby interfaces].
Looking at the [very limited] PS3 stuff we've seen so far, I've become convinced that this next gen is going to be all about graphics and online multiplayer, with a focus that is shifting away from the single-player experience.
And then you have Revolution, which should appeal to me greatly as I want a new experience and really don't care for graphics, but it's already looking like Nintendo is going to have third party problems again, so there goes that.
Anyone else not as hyped for this Gen, as say, last gen, or even the one before that?
