lol never thought I'd see Guy Martin posted here. I don't even think his accent is that hard to understand tbh. He does speak kinda fast at times though.

You know how they had to call the first one Sorcerer instead of Philosopher because philosophers don't exist in America, did they redub 'Arry etc. to be saying sorcerer instead of philosopher in the dialogue?

I'd say all of their accents are very easy to understand. There's a lot of British people that are harder to understand than the HP cast. They're all quite well spoken.

It was because they didn't think American kids would think a philosopher sounded interesting, I believe. But yes, there are two versions of the movie with different takes for every mention of the Philosopher's Stone.

Ha, amazing. Quite why they thought the reception would be different across the pond I don't know.
I'm not even sure I knew what a philosopher was at my age when I picked up the first book so it didn't matter a jot to me.
