April Wrasslin' |OT 2| I'M NOT FINISHED WITH YOU!

On this day, I've stepped back into a world in which I never thought I would.

Anti depressants.

Thanks for all of your support guys. Now back to bullying everyone.

For all the "you hate Raw but you watch Raw" commenters, I didn't watch Raw.

Did I win?

You missed the greatest ref bump in the history of this business.

You know what the cure for depression is? Go back and watch Scott Steiner clown Triple H again.

Get better, man.

lol that's like the fifth time they've done that ring breaking spot.

It's the third time in 14 years. Last time was in 2011.

Blue, be strong my man. It's crazy to think how deep in the hole I was just a few months ago. But I've been able to dig myself out thanks to the WrassleGaf COMMUNITY?!? And you will too.

ESPN bowing to WWE of all people shows how worthless they've become.

There was a thread in the OT about CNN and how it's like ESPN now which got me curious about what ESPN looks like these day so I turned it on about 6:30 PM today and they were interviewing Chris Pratt about GOTG2. They were talking to him about the movie and about how he loves Dr. Dre's 2001 album. It was basically a talk show segment. Zero sports coverage to be found.

I watched the whole show, it was a small segment surrounded by sports talk

You need anything Blue you let me know brother. I've been where you are for a long time (damn near 20 years) and I know how dark it can be. There is hope and it does get better.

Also obligatory Fuck JBL.

Everything they are doing with Braun just makes me like him more. All he needs is to drop the roaring and just talk that real ass shit about kicking everyone's ass and a doper finisher and he'd be the guy.

The eventual run where he gets the title and starts wearing a suit as the "Million Dollar Monster" is going to be awesome.

I'm stuck on what finisher I would give him if I could change his tho. Since it's fuck JBL now he should just adopt a sick ass lariat.

I was on them for 5 years and quit cold turkey(200 mg) . My memory got terrible from the migraines, super migraines, everything irritating me, random crying and random blow ups. After like 2 months they stopped and it was normal from there. But I'm back on them now for something bigger. I even randomly blacked out due to the stress behind the the migraines(I still believe it was a mini stroke because the next day one side of my body felt funny). Maybe I'll learn to appreciate it this time.

And you nerds, I'm not quoting each one of you but I will once again say thank you.

I'm the real mvp.

Take care of yourself, Brother Blue. It's a hard road, but you're making it and doing what's best for you.

20 fucking years wtf? I need your story.

First suicide attempt was in 9th grade when I jumped out of a second story window and fell a whopping 25 feet. Got a bruised tailbone and a week of detention. Had a few since. Currently diagnosed with clinical depression, generalized anxiety disorder, minor bipolar disorder, and ADHD. Probably was on the autism spectrum as a kid but was never diagnosed because back then autism was essentially the same as being considered retarded. Three stints in the local mental health facility. Been on every single stimulant/anti-depressant you can name - Ritalin, Lexapro, Despramine, Wellbutrin, Zoloft, Klonopin, currently on 200mg of Prozac which seems to be working well. Been seeing a wide-variety of therapists that I unfortunately need to keep changing because behavioral health insurance is the biggest load of bullshit in history.

Gat damn.

So is wrestling your escape or it's just there?

Also what's it like to be in a mental hospital?

God damn, you stay strong too, good brother.

Pretty much my escape, I've been a fan since '96 and it's kind of always been there for me, I can always talk the graps with people and make lots of friends that way.

It's part of why I'm such a huge NJPW fan, the US NJPW community is so supportive and far less judgey than the WWE marks.

Also what's it like to be in a mental hospital?

A lot like any other hospital except you're limited in what you can bring and your social interactions. Someone needs to escort you to and from the bathroom. I mostly kept to myself and read some books I had brought. Most people keep to themselves, shock of all shocks people who go to mental health facilities aren't the best at social interactions.

Here's the place I went to: http://www.fourwindshospital.com/

Judgey in what way? Give me an example.

Well I mean I honestly liked the Charlotte/Sasha feud from last year, yeah the hot potatoing of the belt was dumb but the matches were decent enough and having a HIAC match is no small feat. Most around here would say I'm dumb though.

NJPW fans just seem more open, you can be a fan of any particular wrestler and find others like you. It just seems a lot more welcoming.

i mean we are incredibly snarky, its the only way we can watch 20 hours of wwe programming a week

I see. I've always had this thing that people find it cool to hate on anything wwe.

Your example was good. Charlotte and Sasha had great matches other than the hell in a cell match but if it wasn't in somd tokyo dome setting most couldn't care less. The bouncing from title to title sucked though.

Now one program you can say sucked was sheamus v adr. If you liked that shit you need to be picked on lol Mb

Oh no I don't hate on all of WWE, there's some great aspects to their programming, it just continues to be covered up by Roman Reigns pushes and JBL being a cuntrocket.

Oh yeah, the Sheamus/ADR feud was horrible.

I'll actually tell you a funny story, a few weeks I got banned for something stupid I posted. I honest to God cried about it for 3 hours afterwards and felt like shit for two days. For being temp banned. From a gaming forum.

I find people are much, much more positive and having fun when watching NJPW shows live on here, for the most part. It seems like a lot of people are asleep when they air in the Americas tho.

Even then that is only every oyher week or so. When you consider watching Raw, SD, 205, Talking Shoot, NXT etc every week + the PPVs that are often frequent the WWE programming gets exposed far more easily. The problems are much more apparent much more quickly.

Like the Tozawa vs Kendrick thing. They have only had like 1 or 2 singles matches right? But it feels like 10.

Props to WWE for not putting Roman on the show. I thought for sure they would fuck that angle up by putting him on this week as if nothing happened. So good on them.

With WWE you'll also get the people that just watch every week to shit on it, or drive by and say how much the product sucks now...with New Japan you can't really get that because 1) most fans in the West at least started watching in 2013, probably later, and it's at odd hours and infrequent

I never watched njpw before. I should start.

Just be glad your weren't permaed. That'd suck.

It's sad I have to say this but we're just gonna have to deal with both of those situations. I have nothing against jbl, I stay away from that subject. Even though I've been in Mauro's shoes before. I guess I got thick skin and let the negativity bounce off of me. Not that easy for some people.

Yeah you shouldn't get too upset about that, that's bad though. You have an interesting case. I'll tell you this, don't allow this shit to consume you because it's going to stress you out even more.

Guys if you need someone to start shitposting about NJPW just ask, no piece of media should get by without the daily required shitposting, it's unnatural I tell ya

I feel like even through all the complaints, no one would be here if we didn't enjoy it on some level. I'll say for myself, as someone that mostly just watches WWE with occasional dips into other things, I talk about the problems but the things that I enjoy stick with me far more than the things I dislike. Like, I'm a pretty harsh critic of the Crusierweight division, but if you ask me what really sticks with me, it's that I just like Jack Gallagher. If that makes any sense.

"Interesting case", eh? So translation is you don't want to deal with a weirdo like me anymore? :p
