Elden ring + monster hunter + classic dark souls npc's? How could i possibly say no??

Would.add an option for liked elden ring and thinking about buying, I still need to see more to be frank.
I would simplify it with just a yes, no, or maybe

I dont get the obsession for the very specific options.

"Yes but only if jupiter is in line with saturn and youre a Sagittarius"

I'm fully burned out on From Software and couldn't bring myself to finish Elden Ring. No purchase from me.

Co-op PvE is probably going to be more fun and inventive than the base game though. Actually trying something slightly different. If you're still a fan of these games, I bet it will be more interesting than people are expecting. You've all literally played the same thing more or less for 15 years. Reframing it as a PvE might be a much needed breath of fresh air.

My perspective isn't listed.
Love Elden Ring this doesn't look good but if I can try it via demo or beta before buying and I like it I'll buy it.

Loved Elden Ring, but never cared for the multiplayer component in any of those games.

This one seems designed around that so I think I'll skip it.

I hope the single player will be decently balanced and fun. Modding potential is pretty strong for this though.

Eh I'm not sure.

The biggest things pushing me away are tiered loot and the fact that it's a roguelike.

Like pretty much Elden Ring (being of my favorites From souls and the best), but will not play this one. Seems they are deviating way too much from the formula, I could barelly tell what this game was about. Also had a terrible experience with the DLC, so I will stick with the main game.

Loved Elden Ring and the DLC buuut the whole shrinking co-op map thing is something I've never liked in other games before so I'll have to see more or actually I'd want to play a demo round or two.

I'm so Souls'ed out after ER, I'm kind of just over the entire formula at this point. I didn't buy the DLC either.

Minus zero interest unfortunately.

Kinda burned out on Elden Ring. The latest expansion was kinda meh to me. I enjoyed the first 10 hours or so but it got repetitive and didn't feel as compelling as the base game.

Depends on how it plays.

The only (somewhat) fun I had in Elden Ring was playing the seamless co-op mod with a friend. I still never ended up finishing it and skipped Erd Tree.

I'm hoping this game is different.

Loved Elden Ring and beat it many times. Shadow of the Erdtree was a one and done. Zero interest in Nightreign.

Not tired of the Souls formula but I am tired of Elden Ring.

I'm still not sure about this Co-op mode and how it will work in Elden Ring.
So I'll wait and see. But I'm optimistic it will be worth it.

I feel the same way.

When this first announced I was excited about it but more Info I see the more seems like its battle royal mode and I have no interest in that.

From what we've seem so far, not even slightly.

I don't understand how this will work given From Software's approach to difficulty. Can you imagine having to survive 3 days again to have another go at defeating Malenia, Bayle, Radahn?
They'll either have to turn difficulty down a lot by From's standards, or this will be incredibly frustrating. The "run back" to the boss will be 45 min long, if one day takes 15 minutes.

Isn't this what a rogue lite is all about?

You die, you reset, you try again. You get stronger, better weapons, buffed stats. The level layout changes, but your experience and your better character/gear will help you overcome.

Sure, but will this work in the context of this franchise? That's what I'm uncertain about in this game.

I just think that the majority of Rogue Likes are not as complex as Elden Ring in terms of boss design. The difficulty comes from the fact that the bosses are bullet sponges, and they chip your health away to your death when you inevitably make some mistakes along the fight.

Elden Ring has some really complex boss fights in comparison. Bayle has 15 attacks, Radahn has like 20. To beat them, you basically have to memorize some of these attacks first and learn how to survive the fight long enough. This take time and too many attempts. Now I keep thinking of the 20+ times I fought Bayle or the 30+ times I fought Radahn... and I just can't imagine having to endure 45 min gameplay in between just to retry the fight.

They'll either turn down boss difficulty, or players will be overpowered from the start.

My guess: Elden Ring/From Software fans will be disappointed with this game's difficulty - it will be too easy because From will need to turn everything down for balancing.
Anyway I'm certainly curious about this game even though at the moment I'm not considering playing it.

ER was fine, the expansion was dogshit and this looks like milking it even further. Hard pass and kinda sad theyre becoming trend chasers, but then again all good companies eventually fall. Hopefully, the Lies of P team picks up the torch and continues the tradition.

I need to see more of it. Elden Ring was my GOTY and I played a lot of seamless co-op with friends, but I'm just not really excited for this currently.

This game seems like a quick asset flip, but the movement system looks like a huge upgrade. I just don't know right now.

I wouldn't say no to a single-player roguelike Elden Ring. But if it depends too much on random people, I might not like it. Then again, it's not too bad in Monster Hunter.

Nope. FromSoft games are brilliant because of the environmental storytelling, the combat, and the sense of isolation and 'you against the world' feeling.

This shit ain't any of that.

No, the online component in Fromsoft games is always the weakest aspect of the game, usually poorly balanced with crooked hitboxes and disgusting online code when it is not clear at all where the player is actually located and the position of his model does not always reflect reality. Here, on top of that, they added Battle Royale mechanics with a constantly shrinking ring, which is already boring, to be honest. Fromsoft also has a huge problem with cheaters, especially on PC, and they have never really dealt with them, and here the whole game is online (hackers from China with infinite HP and stamina - most likely will be a matter of the first day).
The project looks like a quick attempt to assemble a game from available assets and get money from fans.

Elden Ring is one of my most favorite Games ever, but this new concept doesn't really scratch any itch for me, so i will check it out when it comes out, but at this stage i am not really interested.
