I got the Series S the first time it was $150. Now I just keep it around to eventually play Fable 2 since that is not on Steam. The rest is all PC now for my Xbox.
Yeah, there's only a few games I wish I still had an Xbox for which all end up being 360 and OG Xbox games.

I would love to play through Gears 1-3 again along with Crimson Skies but I don't want to buy a Xbox for just that. I've bought/returned/sold so many Xbox's this generation that it just isn't worth it.

I'm pretty sure I've owned both a Series S and X like 3 times each but every time I quickly come to realize that I'm done playing the couple games I want that it was a bad decision. Luckily I haven't really lost any more then like $150 maybe.

I totally gave up, Xbox is currently a total mess.

Will perhaps buy the XSX when it will be on sales at the end of the current gen, I did the same with the previous Gen.

*edit* And I don't want them to dissappear because competition is healthy for us.

I think the end is soon for me.

I have a Series X with GPU until mid-2026.

I think once that expires i’ll probably give away or sell the console.

GPU has been the only reason i’ve touched my Series X in a few years now but given I have a PS5 Pro now I would much rather just buy the newer multiplatform games on that.

Titanic was called the Ship of Dreams, and it was. It really was.
The only thing I ever invested in the Xbox ecosystem was a controller that I use on PC. I never actually owned any of the consoles.

Sometimes, third party games are much cheaper for me on Xbox due to regional pricing, so sure, I'll occasionally buy games for my Series X. However, if a game has a very good Dualsense implementation, then I will prioritize that over price.

Less and less. I still have Game Pass and have been enjoying Indiana Jones thoroughly, but looking at my Xbox summary this year it turns out I've spent only a fifth of the hours I spent on my Series X last year. That says something. I've started to migrate to PS5.

This $150 Series S was the first Xbox I ever owned. And it’s a waste. I ended up getting a new gaming pc and steam deck. So now Xbox for me is cheap games on Steam or cheap gamepass codes for pc/steam deck

I mean I love their controllers on PC. Solid tech. Takes a beating. Good battery life.

I will always be an xbox controller consumer.

Their hardware or their services.... on the other hand....

For me the fact that it has a rich backward compatible catalogue with some games which haven't been bettered to this day - Panzer Dragoon Orta, Burnout, Dead or Alive, Driver (released in 2013) was the key factor why I'm not that bothered about the PS5 has..and of course Gamepass still has a healthy selection of titles..

I will continue to invest in future xbox consoles as long as they make them. Eventually when xbox becomes an app, I guess it won't really matter at that point. That's probably within the next 10 years I would imagine.

Despite MS's fuckery, I still enjoy and like my Series X. Having said that, I don't buy a lot of digital games unless they're on sale, and I only buy digital on Xbox and that will continue.
Not much has changed in 4 months, I still only buy cheap digital games on this platform.

I got the series x is a few months ago and its only been on a few times but also have ps5 and switch and it he next few days shiny new 30th anniversary portal.

The likelihood me playing on xbox is getting smaller but i had to give it a try at least.

I think gaming is just become a chores st my old age and the old mental is jot rigjt in the best of places so everything is just unappealing 😂

i live myself so peace to game but the thought of booting the console up and getting into something is a chore and im ready for ma bed 😂

i tried indiana jones a few times now and i’m just not getting on with it kinda was hoping it be kinda like uncharted but somthing off . I’m not sure i like the whole stamina depletion , weapons breaking . Slow climbing/ whip swinging and the annoying maps .

It’s killing it for me and I'm sure its probably a good game my taste just now are not gelling.

The idea was to try out the new gears of war and hope it goes back in the direction of the first trilogy .

I would love to be able to go back to the days when i would sit though a game till completion those were fun times.

Anyways happy festive season and hope 2025 turns out a better year for us all ☃️

I plan on trading in my XSX after the holidays are finished as Gamestop notoriously lowers the trade-in values right before Christmas to fuck over desperate people (granted, you could say that that their entire business model exists to fuck customers over).

I redeemed tons of gift cards because I just discovered that my credit card are full of points I can exchange for them... But now when I try to buy stuff on the store, Ms gives me a warning that I can't buy anything because my GC are from a different country that I'm living now 🤡

With all that being said, are you still investing in the Xbox ecosystem with confidence?

Technically if I'm buying XBox games on the PS5, I'm still investing in the XBox ecosystem. The XBox ecosystem isn't tied to just hardware. It's the totality of hardware and software that are under the XBox umbrella.
