PC Gamer said it's not improved by much. AI is a little more aggressive on advancing to your position, but they still mainly go prone, run around a bit, then repeat.
They are really annoying now. Super aggressive to a point where they engage everything, even armour and their aim has improved a lot - Which certainly isn't a plus. They also seem to have a player magnet on their aim. I can be sitting behind a rock exposing a hair from my body whilst my teammates can be standing around me upright, the AI will shoot after me first. It's funny how many AI mods the ArmA 2 community released that are 10x better than the default AI, then they make it worse in the sequel.
I've even seen them during an engagement suddenly not care about you and then just wander off ... I'll attribute that to "Alpha".
I will call it, ultra tactical pace.

Same old stuff, although a bit more aggressive. Sometimes they just stand still and stare blankly at me while I fire my whole magazine against them. Alpha or typical Arma? You decide.

Not to sound morbid but did they add any new wound/hit indications? All unmodded 1/2 had was that surprisingly graphic face one.
Also: Is there any rag doll related hilarity, or is it even present in the alpha at all?

ArmA 2 had controller support
This stream lacks professional soldiers. Just had an intense battle and you could tell their ability to control the battlefield was lacking.
I'm broke so I downloaded Arma II instead and ran through the first scenario. Turns out it's a good game. I've heard they made tons of mods for that.

3 GTX 680's (he just showed his nvidia control panel), getting 18 FPS at points (which I assume is the result of no proper SLI support working yet)
I finally got my key, only took 6 hours.
There is an SLI profile and it's working as far as I can see
The game is CPU limited, not GPU limited.

Although it's a new server (he was hosting his own previously) and night time, he's now getting 40-60 fps with SLI disabled. One card at 99% usage vs three cards each at 20-30% before.

Holy hell, I can't believe I forgot this was coming out today. Downloading now from steam. The lighting is probably the best implementation I've ever seen in a game if the screens are to be believed.

Really love what they've done with the night lighting, both with and without fire/explosions. Looks so much better than Arma 2.
I'd be happy with just some high quality screens, too. This game can look insanely clean. From the 2013 screenshots thread:

I almost feel sorry for the DayZ fans that they won't be getting the lighting engine, because that would make a huge impact on atmosphere in a game like that. I've already been running through woods with my flashlight watching distant lighthouses and almost get spooked.
