Laurel and Tommy sorta worked. Laurel wasn't as utterly terrible as she normally is. Oliver and Laurel have so much dead/negative chemistry, I think it changed the laws of physics.

She doesn't seem to stop when they're off the show either.

Another edit: Also, anytime there is a mysterious voice or masked person, I automatically assume it's Captain Jack. Including the voice on Island Big Bad's radio.

- Arrow producer (and comics writer) Marc Guggenheim revealed on Twitter Thursday evening an eye-opening piece of production arc teasing an appearance for Metamorpho in upcoming second season of the CW television series. The art was a diagram for a black van adorned with a logo and text for a company named Metamorpho Chemical. Metamorpho is a founding member of the DC team the Outsiders, and has also been a member of the Justice League on several occasions. The character is already set to appear in animated form in an upcoming episode of Beware The Batman voiced by Fireflys Adam Baldwin, so are you thinking what were thinking?

Finished Season 1 this weekend. Holy crap that finale! Way different than I expected for a TV finale.
Now bring on season 2!
Tommy died! Did not see that coming. Glad they redeemed him, I was thinking making him a villain would have been really cliched. Also, they basically lost. Did not see that coming. Glades still mostly destroyed. Ballsy move to have the heroes fail on a TV show. Shooting Fines scene on the island was great. Lance calling Laurel was surprising emotional. I liked Roy Harper at first, but they need to hurry up and get him to Arsenal, he is getting annoying. Needs more Slade and Felicity in season 2.
Now bring on season 2!

Metamorpho is able to transmute his body in whole or in part into any element. He is able to combine and shape these elements at will. He is also capable of shapeshifting, and can reshape parts of his body and the whole at his will, including being able to stretch his body; he can also be solid, liquid or gas. His transmuted body is resistant to blunt force and energy attacks. He appears to be functionally immortal, particularly in his inert state. He is a skilled martial artist, as well as an archaeologist and a detective. He is weak to the Orb of Ra, which is like kryptonite to him.
It looks like they're going full blown comic book next season.

Flash was bad enough, but at least I could stomach that. But Metamorpho? How are we even GOING TO DO THAT? What kind of grounded reinterpretation could they do for that? Another science freak like the Flash that all of a sudden gets superpowers!? NO! NO!

Metamorpho is a cross-dressing mob assassin that poisons her victims and uses a van as her base of operations. Ollie ultimately falls in love with her, only to have their relationship tested when Ollie discovers Metamorpho is in fact... Slade. Ultimately Ollie surrenders to his true feelings for Slade. Laurel won't let Ollie go without a fight, so Slade poisons her. Everyone lives fabulously ever after.
