I won't see the episode till tomorrow, but I bet Chinese Island Guy is dead.
Do you really think they will kill him off before he gets to Obi Wan Kenobi the fuck out of Ollie?

It kinda appears like they never saw eachother again after that.Do you really think they will kill him off before he gets to Obi Wan Kenobi the fuck out of Ollie?

I know it's cheezy but I'm starting to like Arrow's "[insert villain's name], YOU HAVE FAILED THIS CITY!" repertoire.
Deathstroke got his ass whooped.
Ollie and Dinah still have no chemistry what so ever, they should just switch speedy and dinah's actresses next season, no one would really care. Or just you know, go in a weird direction with the show, I wouldn't mind.
Cause they are banging brah.I still feel the show has more chemistry between Ollie and his sister
I don't know why but they spark.
It's taken me too long but I've finally drawn the conclusion that Arrow is just DC's answer to Punisher. Or atleast that is how CW chooses to portray this character.
I'm still unsure whether or not I like the direction they are giving for Laurel.
Laurel is turning into Lana. I am so sick of her already
CW's Green Arrow is basically Batman+Punisher...And I think its great.
Cause they are banging brah.
Chinese Island guy is the best. The best!
I find Thea and Ollie's interactions hilarious cause half the time it feels like Thea's about a second away from tearing off his clothes.

The producers of Arrow are not being shy when it comes to bringing in characters from DC Comics, with several slated to appear in upcoming episodes some known for their appearances in Green Arrow comics, some pulled from other DC sources.
IGN has learned that well be meeting another new DC character in the shows 11th episode, as Ted Gaynor is introduced, played by Ben Browder.
On Arrow, Gaynor is Diggles commanding officer from his first tour in Afghanistan, who now works as a bodyguard for Blackhawk Squad Protection Group in Starling City. As a series of armored truck robberies strike the city, Gaynor proves to be a polarizing figure between Oliver (Stephen Amell) and Diggle (David Ramsey).
Tonights new episode of Arrow on The CW features a villain who doesnt say much, but comic-books fans will immediately recognize, nonetheless. Hes Deathstroke, an all-world mercenary and assassin who wears a mask with just one eye (you saw it teased in the pilot, mounted on a stick), and he just might have something to do with all those scars that Oliver Queen accumulated on his body during his mysterious hero-forging castaway days on Purgatory isle. Deathstroke (Jeffrey C. Robinson) is part of a wave of DC Comics characters about to invade Starling City during November sweeps to frustrate the emerald hooded archers mission to purge the blighted city of corruption by any means and trick arrow necessary.
This sneak peak at upcoming episodes teases a few of these rogues, including The Huntress (Jessica De Gouw) and The Royal Flush Gang. In the comics, this squad of crooks wore costumes modeled after playing cards (the suit of clubs, specifically) and wielded high-tech sci-fi weapons. But Arrow clearly emulates the aesthetic that director Christopher Nolan brought to his Batman movies, and so the new iteration of the Gang is more crime flick gritty. Take a look at the promo, and comic fans, if you can spot other familiar faces, dont keep it a secret share in the message boards below.
What does everyone think of Oliver Queen's actor? He doesn't really use much facial expressions...
.
I think he fits the hero persona, while he's less convincing when playing the playboy part. I do like his island scenes, because he does act noticably different there.
Anti heroes make for more compelling television. Plain and simple.
Didn't he only kill the people in the first episode?
He kills the henchmen.
And he very obviously killed the main bad dude at the end of this ep.

you guys think they'll ever break their rule of no super powered heroes/villains in the future?
i really hope so.
but at the least, give me a bruce wayne and lex luthor appearance. the 3 richest dc characters in one episode sounds glorious.
The recent episode was easily the weakest for me. I think its directlly linked to the lack of action scenes. The female characters are all awful and the main actor is good for action stuff, and bromance, but everything else doesn't hold its weight.
An anti-hero who kills people all the time that we are supposed to root for?
Maybe if they continue with the plot arc of killing being wrong.
What the hell is so compelling about a guy killing people with arrows? There's a reason why it works with Walter White. Somehow, I don't think Arrow is a show about a guys fall from grace.
I hope Walter ends up helping Oliver down the road. He seems like a good guy. Odds are he's getting killed thoughCome on. All the scenes with Walter and Mrs Queen together and separately were great. At the very least they handled that subplot nicely.

Walter White is a villain though, Arrow is just hero who goes to extreme measures, both kill people, but the difference is obvious and both characters are nothing alike. An anti-hero who kills people all the time that we are supposed to root for?

I've never heard of two black sidekicks happening before. There must be some union reg that prevents it. Things aren't looking good for Walt.
She hasn't cried yet and she is capable of more then two emotions.Laurel is turning into Lana. I am so sick of her already
He's a heavily muscled, bemused Garret Dillahunt. Dillahunt also never moved the upper half of his face for a good decade. With more experience, he'll come along. What does everyone think of Oliver Queen's actor? He doesn't really use much facial expressions...

Still loving it due to Green Arrow being my favorite character.
P.S. Can't wait for today's ep.
Well you guys asking for a more emotive Oliver may be getting your wish .
