it really hurt the asuka/ember match imho.
It was comically long but these things happen in fake sports. WWE loves their theatricality and anticipation. It's cornball but people love it.

Piper is way better as a babyface than most other wrestlers of her size. She's unique in that way. But Vince sees "big = heel", so yeah they'll probably sign Jazzy and feel okay about it.
Vince might lose himself when he gets to book Jazzy.

They probably did ban it, and changed their mind. Stardom Twitter guy said Kairi told him it was banned.
But she joined Queen's Quest a heel group in Stardom.
Jazzy was also getting face reactions so it was kinda weird. People want to have her face it up against Nia.

Is it weird? WWE is a roster full of heels, yet across all 4 shows they have, what, 2 heels that actually get real heel reactions? Jinder and KO.

I don't there's a single dud on paper in the second round matchups, bar the Mercedes/Princesa match. For the most part, the right people won (except KLR).
Game of Thrones is for small-wienered wieners.
It's interesting how much people have forgot what the wrestling business is about, which is putting asses in seats.
A heel's job isn't just to be booed, any dumb fuck can get booed. Go out there and insult their town on the mic, congrats you are getting booed, good job super heel.
No a heel's job is to *sell tickets*. They exist to be hated to the point that people want to see them lose, that people will pay to see them lose. That's a heel.

They should rotate the MYC and CWC every other year. Keep them fresh while also having the summer period be tournament time for WWE.
Yeah, I think they wanted to give Kairi a showcase match in the first round with an opponent they knew she could have a great match with. Though given she was eliminated anyways, we should have gotten Kairi vs. KLR.
If it makes you feel any better, that is the worst match of the first round by a hundred miles. The three best matches are ahead of you.
