A Shining Example
I liked the 2nd episode better than the 1st, but stilled rolled my eyes when they showed Rebecca's dead body AGAIN.

I'm going to change up who I think killed Rebecca. I was thinking Burton, but after this latest episode I'm thinking it's Bunker's brother. Seems like he wants to take over and the underage girl/porn thing might tie in with the first 2 victims.

Starting to think Carrie might have killed Rebecca as she appears to be cleaning house.

I am going to miss this show so much, Burton freaks me out, such a great character.

The way he looked at that guy when Proctor strangled him...
I was always hoping we'd just get a spin off following Burton and Proctor. A solid hour of these two nut jobs driving around in that classic Rolls Royce collecting money and fucking people up in creative and sadistic ways cause they don't have the money or because they're getting in the way of Proctor's money.

So an extreme series of Strike Back.

Much better episode than the season premiere. Carrie continues to be the baddest woman on TV, Rebeca's flashbacks were great and everything felt a lot more cohesive. That was pure Banshee.

That reminds me. Cinemax was once developing a show called Sandbox, about bunch of special forces guys who return to their small hometown after couple tours and discover it taken by cartel. So they start to wage their own private war against it. Shame nothing ever came out of it :( The concept seemed perfect for Cinemax

Cinemax shows usually lose sexual content as the seasons go by.

Strike Back and Banshee at least.

Edit: I agree!
Cruz kicks ass. I saw her take down that guy last ep and I'm like, "she's perfect for Hood. Hood get in that shit already." He doesn't have to shave, just go in all Brawny paper towel guy and get it done.

This show is so boring now. Please do a 180 on the tone and go back to the greatness of the first three seasons. Jeez I can barely even pay attention to what's happening.

Cruz staring down both Burton and Carrie has set up some expectations that better be met !

Loved the chase of the merc guy on the train, with the way it was shot and the music I think someone saw Hanna. And of course Carrie can get to the next train platform before the train itself.

Pretty disappointing episode. It looked like getting Job back was no big deal after all (at least the chase scene was nicely done). Also plenty of fillers.

Not sure what was the dead end with finding Job. They knew how the guy who took Jon on the heli looked, didn't they?

Pro tip: if you're trying to catch someone whose doing something publicly (like the oft-used person in a lecture) then instead of having you 3 fucking sit their in your seats and inevitably tipping him off, you should COVER THE DAMN EXISTS.

Oh boy, oh boy, the end of that foot chase is magnificent, put your eyes on it Hollywood.

That coroner is suspicious, I don't like him, I think he's the murderer

Too bad job killed discount Brian Adams, I was looking forward for a fight between him and Hood

Eheheh look who he is the godfather(Generation Kill reference)

Job is back bantering with Sugar

I can't believe this season is almost half over and it's going nowhere so far.

The chase was awesome but never should have happened. Like Hood, Carrie and the rest of Team Banshee wouldn't have blocked every fucking exit to that lecture hall.

3 for 3 on the gross Rebecca corpse pics, so I guess necrophiliacs have some more wank material.

All you had to do to get Job back was ask!

The nazi plotline is pretty weak so far, i can't stand any of the characters involved in it, and i don't like how they're written, either.
I hope they aren't trying to make me feel sympathy for the wife of the nazi brother, 'cause it's not working.

This serial killer thing also still doesn't make sense to me narratively, but the guy at the end looked like Burton, with how he kept the fet pointing slightly inwards.

Isn't it 5 more episodes?

And yeah, my money is on Burton as the serial killer too. When he fought Nola, there was a ton of scalpels in his trunk, so it's likely he could have the medical precision mentioned in the autopsy report.

Wasn't nice seeing Job so broken, but I have a feeling, compared to the rest of the group, he'll end up one of the lucky ones.

I miss the insane and crazy figths of the last seasons. I want more Burton Vs Nola or Albino Vs Hood.
Job's rescue was lackluster, I was expecting something like the Camp Omega's assault or the church bloodbath in Season 2.

Too much focus on this boring "who is Rebecca's killer"?
Only 5 episodes to the ending.. what if the killer reveal will be disappointing or some random guy? Banshee was great for the action, not for this crime drama shit.

How is it that Rebecca is so much more sympathetic when she's already dead? :D

And that end of the chase..wow...just plain wow.

Overall solid episode. Hood will likely be exonarated ultra fast, since the killer's got another victim already.

I must be the only one who didn't find the chase particularly spectacular, especially in a show that opened with a bus getting thrown over.

I liked the episode, but it was sort of awkward that they managed to get Job out so easily. Comparing the list of people working at the military base to the list of people killed there should have been like the first thing Hood and Carrie did...

The chase was cool!

I'm pretty sure this guy is the serial killer:

Chris-Coy-Banshee-regular.jpg

Think about it: He's a nebbish, insecure white guy with serious rage issues desperately trying to assert his own power and dominance in the world and being shut down at every point. He's murdering young women to feel power. Seems pretty obvious.

This is what will lead to the Bunker/Bunker showdown, and the Hoodlums vs Nazis and Proctor.

Also, poor Job. His existence for twenty months just seems so fucking hellish. Felt so bad at the end for him. Him and Hood, still prisoners.

And now Eliza Dushku is showing up. Lol. As if Hood hadn't had enough shit dumped on his lap.

And damn, Hood knocked Rebecca up? That kid would have had a hell of an upbringing if Rebecca had survived.

And man, Calvin's wife is hot. Kurt should just off Calvin and keep tapping that like there's no tomorrow.

Proctor's side plot was pretty superfluous but man, when he started imagining Rebecca... kinda creepy actually.

He's murdering young women to feel power? The guy runs multiple illegal operations, has already murdered several people (implied or otherwise) and is not averse in expressing his violent behavior, like when he torched his own brother's chest.

Episodes are good so far but Im getting a little tired of women getting their heads smashed in over and over. And that faux rape sequence the beginning of the last episode was waaay too extra.

I'm enjoying the season so far and I actually happen to think it's much better glued together than the previous one, which was all over the place. There's something that bothers me, though. Banshee has always been a show with fast action and a slowly paced plot, and that kind of dynamic doesn't seem very fitting of a season finale with a reduced number of episodes.

Something such as Job's predicament would have taken five or six episodes at a previous season, yet it had to be resolved in just three for the finale. I wonder if it wouldn't have been better to make the entire season finale about getting Job back instead of pursuing two (seemingly) separate stories in an already shortened season.

Could be cool if he was the killer and a Bunker/Bunker showdown happening would be all sorts of cool.

So far I'm enjoying the season. I like how they use Rebecca even though she's dead and it's great to have Job back. He already started talking small amounts of trash when he got out.

If that was the killer at the end, it rules out a few suspects considering it was definitely a male and someone sprightly on their feet. Ran like a young fellow. Rules out Proctor and even Burton really as it's not really his style. interesting snippet of a scene.

But I'm waiting for Burton to kill Bunker.

Does the 30-seconds promo of episode 4 show the killer?

Don't look if you don't want spoilers.

A man with a satanic tattoo and an inverted cross in the chest.
Is the killer a new character and not a known one? So disappointing if true... all the conjectures and theories of the first episodes would be pointless.

Pls no. The other way around is fine.

EDIT:

Which Bunker? If you mean Nazi Bunker and not Cop Bunker then yes, I want Burton to kill him.
Cop Bunker is fine. I meant Nazi Bunker. You can just tell Burton wants to puts his foot up his ass and through his mouth.
